Abstract
La descripción actual se refiere a la modulación en el sistema de señalización RAS/cAMP/PKA para mantener la eficiencia de propagación e incrementar eficiencia de fermentación de células de levadura. La descripción actual proporciona células de levadura que tienen se producen por ingeniería para exhibir una modulación en la señalización en un sistema RAS/cAMP/PKA, dependiendo de las condiciones. Por ejemplo las células de levadura pueden seleccionarse o modificarse genéticamente para expresar una proteína Rasl mutada, una proteína Ras2 mutada, una proteína Ira1 mutada y/o una proteina Ira2 mutada, opcionalmente en combinación con promotores específicos.
