Abstract
Se describe un método para preparar un artículo que comprende al menos un primer componente de una poliolefina en unión con un segundo componente de un polímero hecho por polimerización de metátesis de abertura de anillo de monómeros tipo norboneno. El método comprende pretratar una superficie del primer componente, aplicar una mezcla polimerizable de metátesis de abertura de anillo de monómeros tipo norboneno y un catalizador a la superficie, y curar la mezcla polimerizable de metátesis de abertura de anillo en contacto con la superficie, en donde la mezcla polimerizable de metátesis de abertura de anillo tiene un n1000 a 30°C de más de 9 segundos. Se pueden obtener con el método los artículos tal como la junta de campo de tubería o un elemento protector para un elemento de forro de túnel de concreto.
