Abstract
Un método para inactivar xenoantígenos en tejidos biológicos, particularmente en tejidos que se pueden usar para fabricar sustitutos bioprotésicos y/o en sustitutos bioprotésicos que ya están preparados y destinados para uso clínico humano o veterinario. Tal método implica las siguientes etapas: proporcionar una solución basada en compuestos fenólicos, compuestos polifenólicos o derivados de los mismos, para la inactivación de al menos parte de los epítopos xenogénicos de dichos tejidos; incubar las muestra a ser tratadas en las diversas soluciones basadas en fenoles/polifenoles en condiciones controladas; someter los tejidos tratados a una serie de lavados.
