Abstract

Se proporciona un método para producir un material compuesto que comprende: suministrar a un reactor un compuesto metálico (MpC) de un metal producto (Mp) y un reductor (R) capaz de reducir el compuesto metálico (MpC) del metal producto (Mp); formar un material compuesto que comprende una matriz de reductor oxidado (Ro) del reductor (R), el metal producto (Mp) dispersado en la matriz de reductor oxidado (Ro) y al menos uno de (i) uno o más compuestos metálicos (MpCR) del compuesto metálico (MpC) en uno o más estados de oxidación y (ii) el reductor (R); y recuperar el material compuesto del reactor, en donde el compuesto metálico (MpC) del metal producto (Mp) se alimenta al reactor de manera que esté en exceso con respecto al reductor (R).
