Abstract
Un vehículo incluye un propulsor, un generador y un motor. El propulsor quema una mezcla gaseosa en un cilindro para generar una fuerza impulsora. El generador genera electricidad al ser girado por la fuerza impulsora producida desde el propulsor. El motor se impulsa utilizando la energía eléctrica generada por el generador o la energía eléctrica que se ha acumulado en una batería cargada con energía eléctrica generada por el generador, y el motor, por lo tanto, emite una fuerza impulsora que funciona en el vehículo. Una caja que cubre el propulsor es de mayor diámetro que una caja que cubre un diferencial. El motor tiene un árbol de transmisión que emite la fuerza impulsora del vehículo y tiene el árbol de transmisión colocado en paralelo a la dirección de ancho del vehículo. El generador está colocado de tal manera que parte del generador se traslapa a una sección superior de la caja que cubre el diferencial.
