Abstract
La invención se relaciona con un método para elaborar aluminatos de calcio en un horno industrial (1), de acuerdo con el cual, en un tanque (15) elaborado de material refractario que contiene una reserva fundida (11) que se calienta constantemente, se introducen continuamente partículas finas de una fuente de materia prima de alúmina (Al2O3) y/o de aluminio (Al), y de una fuente de materia prima de óxido de calcio (CaO) y/o de calcio (Ca), que tienen un diámetro medio d50 menor o igual a 6,000 µm, con el fin de fundir las partículas finas de materia prima, y en la salida del tanque se recupera continuamente una masa de aluminatos de calcio líquidos (16).
