Abstract
La presente invención proporciona un método de fabricación de junta soldada en filete y una junta soldada en filete que incrementa la productividad sin sacrificar la resistencia de la fractura por fatiga de los elementos estructurales de soldadura. La junta soldada en filete de acuerdo con la presente invención se forma al soldar en filete al menos dos miembros de metal, caracterizada porque la superficie de al menos uno de los miembros de metal tiene un cordón de prensa que es una protuberancia similar a nervadura proporcionada al moldear por prensado de modo que el cordón de prensa sobresale en un lado que tiene un cordón de soldadura formado por soldadura en filete, y porque una porción del cordón de prensa hace contacto o se superpone al cordón de soldadura.
