Abstract
Se proporciona un freno que emplea un circuito electromagnético o magnético para desengranar el freno y en donde se utiliza un interruptor de láminas (26) para indicar una condición operativa del freno. El interruptor de láminas (26) está colocado a través de un espacio de aire entre dos miembros del circuito electromagnético o magnético. El interruptor de láminas está orientado de manera que un eje longitudinal (54) del interruptor de láminas se extiende en una dirección diferente paralelo a uno o ambos de (i) el eje de rotación (28) para girar componentes del freno y (ii) una dirección de una fuerza magnética en un punto en el espacio de aire en donde la fuerza magnética es mayor.
