Abstract
La presente descripción se relaciona de manera general con un método y dispositivo para codificar una imagen en color que tiene componentes de color. El método comprende obtener (11) un componente de luminancia (L) y dos componentes de crominancia finales (C1, C2) de la imagen en color que será codificada, obtener (11) un componente de luminancia final (L´´) y dos componentes de crominancia finales (C1´´, C2´´), y codificar (13) el componente de luminancia final (L´´) y al menos un componente de crominancia final. caracterizado porque el método comprende además: - determinar un primer factor (ß-1(L(i))sobre la base del valor de cada pixel (i) del componente de luminancia (L); - obtener los dos componentes de crominancia finales (C1´´, C2´´) por escalamiento de los dos componentes de crominancia (C1, C2) por el primer factor; y- obtener (122) el componente de luminancia final (L´´) combinando linealmente juntos el componente de luminancia (L) y los dos componentes de crominancia finales (C1´´, C2´´) como sigue: L´´ = L - mC´´1 - nC´´2 donde L el componente de luminancia, L´´ es el componente de luminancia final, C´´1 y C´´2 son los dos componentes de crominancia finales, m y n no son coeficientes nulos ninguno.
