Abstract
The present invention relates to a process for obtaining films based on electrospun nanofibers, PVA and olive oil by the method of electrospinning to coat fruits and vegetables. The characteristics of the ingredients used in the films make the technology a viable alternative to extending the shelf life of fresh fruits and vegetables in storage, minimally processed.
