Abstract
Una barra de acero laminada o material de alambre laminado para usarse en un componente forjado en frío y que tiene una composición química prescrita, en donde Y1 y Y2 representados por Y1=[Mn]x[Cr], y Y2=0.134x(D/25.4-(0.50xv[C])) / (0.50xv[C])) satisfacen Y1>Y2, la resistencia a la tracción de la misma es 750 MPa o menos, la estructura interna de la misma es una estructura de ferrita/perlita, y la fracción de ferrita constituye 40% o más de la estructura interna.
