Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una planta de chile (Capsicum spec.) que muestra resistencia contra Leveillula taurica, en donde la planta de chile comprende un QTL en LG1/8, QTL el cual conduce a resistencia contra Leveillula taurica y en donde el QTL está presente en o se puede obtener de una planta de chile, una semilla representativa de la cual se depositó bajo el número de acceso de depósito NCIMB 42136. Preferiblemente, el QTL está presente de manera homocigótica. En las semillas del depósito el QTL se vincula con un marcador molecular de acuerdo con la SEC ID NO 1.
