Abstract

Se describen los métodos para el mejoramiento de crecimiento de plantas, que comprende tratar a la semilla de la planta o a la planta que germina a partir de la semilla, con una cantidad efectiva de al menos dos lipo- quitooligosacáridos, en donde después de la cosecha la planta muestra al menos uno de rendimiento incrementado de la planta medido en términos de hectolitros/hectárea (busheles/acre) número incrementado de las raíces, longitud incrementada de las raíces, masa incrementada de las raíces, volumen incrementado de las raíces y área incrementada de las hojas, en comparación a las plantas no tratadas o a las plantas cosechadas a partir de semillas no tratadas.
