Abstract
Un estimulador neural implantable incluye uno o más electrodos, una antena dipolo, y uno o más circuitos y no incluye una fuente de energía interna. Uno o más electrodos se configuran para aplicar uno o más pulsos eléctricos al tejido neural. La antena dipolo se configura para recibir una señal de entrada que contiene energía eléctrica utilizando un acoplamiento por radiación eléctrica (por ejemplo, en el rango de frecuencia que va de 300 MHz a 8 GHz).
