Abstract

La invención se relaciona con una planta para realizar el enrollamiento de tubos sinfín, típicamente con un diámetro grande. La planta comprende: un horno para calentar lingotes producidos por medio de fundición continua; un molino perforador para perforar longitudinalmente los lingotes para así, obtener una plantilla perforada; un molino expansor-de alargamiento para expandir el diámetro de la plantilla perforada y para alargar la plantilla perforada para así obtener un tubo semi-terminado, un molino de enrollamiento principal del tipo que comprende estaciones con dos o más rodillos, en donde la posición radial de los rodillos es ajustable, para realizar el enrollamiento de un tubo en un mandril retenido, un molino extractor-reductor, de rodillo fijo colocado corriente abajo del molino de enrollamiento principal y en serie con el mismo, el molino extractor-reductor está diseñado para extraer el tubo del mandril y para definir un valor predeterminado para el diámetro del tubo; un molino de tamaño para definir el diámetro del tubo terminado, el molino de tamaño es del tipo en donde la posición radial de los rodillos es ajustable, y un lecho de enfriamiento. La planta de conformidad con la invención también comprende una línea de pase para alimentar la plantilla perforada que abandona el molino perforador directamente hasta el molino de enrollamiento principal, lo cual elimina el molino expansor-de alargamiento.
