Abstract
La presente invención es una composición selladora, método para producir la misma, artículos hechos a partir de la misma y método para formar tales artículos. La composición selladora de acuerdo con la presente invención comprende: (a) desde 70 hasta 99.5 por ciento en peso de una composición de interpolímero de etileno/a-olefina, con base en el peso total de la composición selladora, en donde dicha composición de interpolímero de etileno/a-olefina comprende un interpolímero de etileno/a-olefina, en donde el interpolímero de etileno/a-olefina tiene una Constante de distribución de comonómero (CDC) en el rango desde 15 hasta 250 y una densidad en el rango desde 0.875 hasta 0.963 g/cm3, un índice de fusión (I2) en un rango desde 0.2 hasta 20 g/10 minutos, y frecuencia de ramificación de cadena larga en el rango desde 0.02 hasta 3 ramificaciones de cadena larga (LCB) por I000C; y (b) desde 0.5 hasta 30 por ciento en peso de una composición de interpolímero de propileno/a-olefina, en donde dicha composición de interpolímero de propileno/a-olefina comprende un copolímero de propileno/a-olefina o un terpolímero de propileno/etileno/buteno, en donde dicho copolímero de propileno/a-olefina tiene una cristalinidad en el rango desde 1 por ciento en peso hasta 30 por ciento en peso, un calor de fusión en el rango desde 2 Joules/gramo hasta 50 Joules/gramo, y un punto de fusión de DSC en el rango de 25°C hasta 110°C.
