Abstract
La presente es una composición selladora, el método de producción de la misma, de los artículos de la misma, y el método para formar dichos artículos. La composición selladora, de acuerdo con la presente, contiene: (a) del 70 a 99,5 por ciento por peso de una composición de interpolímero de etileno/a-olefina, basada en el peso total de la composición selladora, en donde dicha composición del interpolímero de etileno/a-olefina contiene un interpolímero de etileno/a-olefina, en donde el interpolímero de etileno/a-olefina tiene una Constante de Distribución de Comonómero (CDC) en el rango de 15 a 250, y una densidad en el rango de 0,875 a 0,963 g/cm3, un índice de fusión (l2) en un rango de 0,2 a 20 g/10 minutos, y una frecuencia de ramificación de cadena larga en el rango de 0,02 a 3 (LCB) por 1000C, (b) de 0,5 al 30 por ciento por peso de una composición de interpolímero de propileno/a-olefina, en donde dicha composición del interpolímero de propileno/a-olefina contiene un copolímero de propileno/a-olefina, o un terpolímero de propileno/etileno/buteno, en donde el copolímero de propileno/a-olefina tiene una cristalinidad en el rango del 1 por ciento por peso al 30 por ciento por peso, un calor de fusión en el rango de 2 Joules/gramos a 50 joules/gramos, y un punto de fusión de DSC en el rango de 25ºC a 110ºC.
