Abstract
Se describe un proceso económico para la purificación de agua que contiene compuestos inorgánicos solubles y poco solubles, empleando procesos de membrana de una etapa o de dos etapas que integran la purificación del agua mediante membranas con el ablandamiento mediante precipitación química y la eliminación de la dureza y la sílice residuales de los concentrados de membrana empleando resinas de intercambio iónico y medios atrapadores de sílice, respectivamente. En la presente invención, la recuperación de agua purificada no se verá afectada negativamente por deficiencias en el diseño y/o en la operación del sistema de ablandamiento por precipitación química, que podrían generar una concentración más elevada de la dureza y la sílice residuales en el sobrenadante del clarificador.
