Abstract

Una dispersión que comprende de 0.1 a 25% en peso de sílice hidrofobizada, de 8 a 9% en peso de al menos un alcohol seleccionado del grupo que consiste de etanol, 1-propanol, 2-propanol, de 7 a 89% en peso de agua, de 0 a 3% en peso de solvente inmiscible en agua, y de 0.04 a 5% en peso de al menos un polímero de carboxi vinilo presente en forma neutralizada, se puede aplicar a una superficie utilizando un método de aplicación sin goteo y, al modificar la superficie con sílice hidrofobizada, imparte propiedades de repelencia al agua y auto-limpieza.
