La presente invención se refiere a secuencias de polinucleótido que comprenden la SEQ ID N° 1 que codifica para CRM197 y se optimiza para su expresión en E. coli. La invención se refiere en consecuencia a un método para la producción de CRM197 en E. coli mediante una proteína de fusión CRM197-marca.
