Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a métodos que comprenden: proporcionar un polímero degradable dentro de una porción de una formación subterránea; introducir una solución base en la porción de la formación subterránea, en donde la solución base comprende al menos una base seleccionada del grupo que consiste de: hidróxido de amonio, una solución alcohólica alcalina, y una solución amina alcalina, y derivados de los mismos; y permitir a la solución base degradar el polímero degradable.
