Abstract
La presente invención proporciona sistemas conservadores de bebida para el uso en productos de bebida de alto contenido de ácido, y productos de bebida que comprenden los sistemas conservadores de bebida. El sistema conservador de bebida previene el deterioro por los microorganismos en una bebida dentro de un contenedor sellado durante un período de por lo menos 16 semanas. La presente invención reduce o elimina el uso de conservadores convencionales que poseen problemas para la salud y/o ambientales. Los componentes que constituyen el sistema conservador de bebida de la invención trabajan conjuntamente de una manera sinergística para reducir la cantidad de conservador requerido y así mejorar el impacto sensorial de la bebida inventiva sobre las bebidas que tienen conservadores convencionales.
