Abstract

Se provee un procedimiento fermentativo que utilizan carbohidratos derivados de hemicelulosa para la producción de mezclas de celulasa con una proporción alta de celulasas con relación a hemicelulasas. Las celulasas producidas mediante el procedimiento de la invención se caracterizan también por productividad específica alta. Las mezclas de celulasa resultantes comprenden por lo menos 2 veces más celulasa que hemicelulasas y son útiles para la hidrólisis de substratos celulósicos, particularmente, substratos lignocelulósicos pretratados.
