Abstract
Un método y aparato para mejorar la transferencia en una red de comunicación obediente IEEE 802.21. Una pregunta se transmite de una unidad de transmisión/recepción inalámbrica (WTRU) a un servidor de transferencia independiente de medios (MIH) (MIHS). La WTRU incluye un punto de unión (PoA) objetivo y/o un método de protocolo de internet móvil preferido (MIP) La WTRU recibe una respuesta del MIHS indicando el método MIP soportado por el PoA objetivo.
