Abstract
La presente invención está dirigida a un inserto, un ensamble de cortador ranurado y un método para maquinar una pluralidad de ranuras en una parte de aleación metálica. El inserto puede comprender un borde cortador, por lo menos un radio primario, por lo menos dos radios secundarios y un ángulo de despojo anterior. El borde cortador puede formar un extremo externo estrecho en una punta del inserto y una región de anchura más grande a una distancia hacia adentro desde el extremo externo estrecho.
