Abstract

Se preparan y proporcionan gránulos/pastillas de polímero estirénico aniónico bromado no adulterado. Se hacen al formar un flujo tampón orientado descendentemente al menos desde un orificio en una boquilla o tubo múltiple que este en proximidad con un miembro plano corredizo enfriado. Este miembro plano es insensible al líquido de enfriamiento. Existe un hueco entre la porción inferior de orificio y el miembro plano. Una porción de un tampón de polímero fundido (i) brinca el espacio o (ii) cae libremente desde la porción inferior del orificio y cae sobre el miembro plano, en cualquier caso forma un gránulo o pastilla individual sobre el miembro plano y solidifica sobre este. El miembro corredizo se enfría por una niebla o aspersión del líquido de enfriamiento aplicada al lado inferior del miembro plano. Los gránulos/pastillas tienen propiedades superiores.
