Abstract
Un dispositivo para engarzar la boca de un alojamiento de detonador comprende un par de mordazas opuestas recíprocamente movibles entre sí y una pluralidad de segmentos dentados en cada mordaza. Los segmentos son movibles, se ubican en una cavidad de mordaza y juntos forman un anillo segmentado. Las caras laterales de cada segmento convergen desde un extremo externo radialmente amplio hacia un extremo estrecho radialmente interno dentado. Se proporciona un elemento de desviación elásticamente tensado entre cada par adyacente de segmentos. Los elementos de desviación funcionan para separar los segmentos de cada par cuando las mordazas están separadas una de la otra y además funcionan para permitir los segmentos, en respuesta al movimiento de los segmentos movibles que se originan del cierre de las mordazas para empalmarse entre sí en serie cuando las mordazas se encuentran estrechamente en contacto entre sí para formar el anillo segmentado.
