Abstract

La invención se refiere a un horno de coque de construcción horizontal (del tipo de no recuperación/recuperación de calor) que consiste en por lo menos una cámara de coquificación, tubos de descenso verticales que están dispuestos lateralmente, así como canales de fondo dispuestos horizontalmente y que se extienden por debajo de la cámara de coquifiación para el recalentamiento indirecto de la cámara de coquificación, con por lo menos una parte de las paredes interiores de la cámara de coquificación estando configuradas como superficies de calentamiento secundarias al revestirlas con un revestimiento de alta emisión (HEB) y con el grado de emisión de este revestimiento de alta emisión siendo igual o mayor a 0.9; este HEB de preferencia consiste en las sustancias Cr2O3 o Fe2O3 o una mezcla que contiene cualquiera de estas sustancias, con la porción de F2O3 alcanzando hasta por lo menos el 25 % en peso en una mezcla, y la porción de Cr2O3 alcanzando hasta por lo menos el 20 % en peso en una mezcla.
