Abstract
La invención se refiere a un procedimiento para la compensación de las pérdidas por entalpía del gas de humo de los hornos de coque con "recuperación de calor", en el que varias cámaras de horno de coque están reunidas en un banco de hornos de coque y éste está unido mediante un canal de gas de humo o canales de gas de humo a una o varias calderas, siendo que la operación de las cámaras de horno de coque se interrumpe periódicamente retirándose la torta de coque y, durante la interrupción de la operación, las distintas cámaras de horno de coque se mantienen calientes con cuando menos un quemador adicional calentado de forma externa, de modo que también durante la interrupción de la operación se proporciona un gas de humo caliente, el cual proviene del gas de humo del quemador adicional, y el flujo térmico reducido en comparación con la operación normal se compensa mediante cuando menos un quemador de compensación adicional, el cual se encuentra fuera de las cámaras de horno de coque, de manera que la o las calderas reciben un flujo térmico homogéneo en comparación con la operación normal. De este modo, las calderas que se utilizan normalmente para la generación de vapor, pueden operar de forma rentable.
