Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un sistema de enfriamiento adicional (1) para la extracción en seco de flujos grandes de cenizas pesadas producidas por calderas (100) con combustible apto para reducir la temperatura de las cenizas. El sistema comprende un extractor con cinturón metálico (20) que congrega la ceniza que se deposita en el fondo de la caldera (100), un sistema de trituración (3), cuyo propósito es incrementar la superficie de intercambio térmico del material, uno o más transportadores metálicos (4, 6) que tiene la función de enfriamiento al introducir un flujo de aire a contracorriente que corre por las cenizas transportadas, un mecanismo de enfriamiento en línea (5) que tiene la función de poner en contacto la ceniza varias veces con aire a contracorriente adicional, a fin de incrementar el posible intercambio sin aumentar necesariamente el flujo de aire que entra en la cámara de combustión. Dicho aire adicional puede ser enviado de preferencia corriente arriba del calentador de aire o a la atmósfera después de la captación de arenillas (figura 1).
