Description
LID WITH ACTIVATION PROTECTION FOR A PRESSURIZED CONTAINER
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to a lid or a pressurized container with an activation button disposed on the upper part, which is provided for discharging a measured quantity of atomizer or foam of a product from a nozzle or opening through a channel, characterized in that the channel communicates with a short-bar valve of a valve disc in the pressurized container and the activation button. The first time the activation button is activated, it communicates with an activation protection device.
BACKGROUND
The covers with a new activation protection device of an activation button (guarantee of first opening) for a pressurized container are known in the most varied of modalities, for example, in patent no. GB2108205A. This type of activation protection is externally visible to the user due to the design. This results in additional limitations in the design of the types of caps. In addition, caps with a new activation protection device of an activation button (first opening guarantee) for a pressurized container are known as daily use, so that the activation button can not be activated until a tongue is torn. This action, however, results in a separate or unrelated part.
Likewise, the object of the invention is to obtain a generally equivalent cover that does not have the disadvantages mentioned above, or characterized in that the activation protection device (first opening guarantee) is not externally visible to the user and is easy to handle. In addition, there should be no limitations on the external design of this type of cover. The objective is achieved by the specified features of claim 1 or independent claim 8. Further developments of the invention such as those mentioned in claim 1 result from the sub-claims. Thus, it is now possible, in spite of the practically closed surface of the cover, to provide an activation protection device as a guarantee of first opening that is not externally visible to the user and is easy to manipulate.

The invention is described in detail below with reference to five illustrative modalities. The following is shown: Figures 1-4 show several views of a first illustrative embodiment; Figures 5-8 show several views of a second illustrative embodiment; Figures 9-12 show several views of a third illustrative embodiment; Figures 13-16 show several views of a fourth modality
illustrative; Figures 17-21 show several views of a fifth illustrative embodiment; and Figure 22 shows a version according to Figure 17.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Figure 1 shows, in a first illustrative embodiment, a cover 1 for a pressurized container 2 with an activation protection device 8.1, characterized in that the cover 1 has the form of a protective cover 32 externally with an activation button 3 arranged in the upper part, which is not pressed, and a practically closed surface. The activation button 3 is provided to discharge a measured amount of spray or a quantity of foam from a product from a nozzle 4 or opening 4A through a channel 5. The channel 5 communicates with a short-bar valve 6 of a valve disc 7 in the pressurized container 2 and with the activation button 3, characterized in that the activation button 3 when activated for the first time communicates with the activation protection device 8.1 as a first opening guarantee. As an activation protection device 8.1, the channel 5 is connected to a first reinforcing rib 2 in the lateral, lower area 9 in the vicinity of the valve 6; the reinforcing rib 22 is connected to a horizontally disposed lever 26, characterized by being connected to a starter 25 of a first rib 10 by a predetermined breaking zone 15. One end 27 of the first rib 10 is connected to a base part 14 in an angle to an axis of the valve 6; the base part 14 is supported on the valve disc 7. The activation button 3 in this case is protected by
the activation protection device 8.1. When an opposing force is overcome during the first manual activation of the activation button 3, the predetermined rupture zone 15 leads to a predetermined rupture 16 (figures 3 and 4) due to the manual force in the lever 26 and consequently, allows the activation of the valve 6. Preferably, the channel 5 is made of plastic as a one-piece unit with the reinforcing rib 22, the lever 26, the first rib 10 and the base part 14. Figure 2 shows a detailed extension ( X1) according to figure 1, which indicates in more detail the activation protection device 8.1 and the base part 14, which is designated as a ring means 19. Figure 3 shows an activated activation button 3 pressed down axially , which leads to a predetermined break 16 in the predetermined breaking zone 15 and, consequently, allows activation of the valve 6. The activation button 3 in this illustrative embodiment is connected to a housing 31 with a film hinge 30. Instead of the hinge 30, an annular wall is provided around the activation button 3 according to Figure 22; the wall is manufactured using a two-component injection molding process and allows a corresponding lifting movement of the actuator button. In addition, this also strongly seals the activation button 3 with the housing 31. Figure 4 shows a detailed enlargement (X2) according to figure 3, particularly indicating the rib 10 broken by the lever 26. Figures 5 to 8 show, in a second illustrative embodiment, a lid 1 with an activation protection device 8.2, as shown in figures 1 to 4; however, in this case, the activation protection device 8.2 also has an elastic band 17 which is connected to the lever 26 and the first rib 10. This ensures that, after a predetermined break 16, the first rib 10 remains
connected to the base part 14 and with the lever 26 by the elastic band 17 (figures 7 and 8). Figure 6 shows a detailed enlargement (X3) according to figure 5, particularly indicating the elastic band 17. Figure 7 shows the cover 1 according to figure 5, but with the activation button activated 3 pressed down axially. Figure 8 shows a detailed extension (X4) according to Figure 7, particularly indicating the function of elastic connection of the elastic band 17, whereby the first rib 10 together with the base part 14 can not move uncontrollably as a single part. Figures 9 to 12 show, in a third illustrative embodiment, a cover 1 with an activation protection device 8.3 as shown in figures 1 to 4; however, the device is connected additionally and diametrically to a second reinforcing rib 23 with a lever 26 and a second rib 11, characterized in that the base part 14 is designated as a complete ring 20. This diametrical arrangement results in an application of force optimally centered on the activation protection device 8.3. Figure 10 shows a detailed enlargement (X5) according to Figure 9. Figure 11 shows the cover 1 according to Figure 9, but with the activated activation button 3 pressed down axially. Fig. 12 shows a detailed enlargement (X6) according to Fig. 11 indicating the predetermined bend bent 16 in greater detail. Figures 13 to 16 show, in a fourth illustrative embodiment, a cover 1 with an activation protection device 8.4, as shown in figures 9 to 12,
but each with an additional elastic band 17, each of which is connected to the lever 26 and the first rib 10 or the second rib 11. This ensures that, after a predetermined break 16, the first and second ribs 10 , 11 remain connected to the base part 14 (complete ring 20) and with the lever 26 by the elastic band 17 (Figures 15 and 6). Figure 14 shows a detailed enlargement (X7) according to figure 13, particularly indicating the elastic bands 17, 17. Figure 15 shows the lid 1 according to figure 13, but with the activated activation button 3 pressed down axially. Figure 16 shows a detailed enlargement (X8) according to Figure 15, particularly indicating the function of elastic connection of the elastic bands 17, 17, whereby the first and second ribs 10, 11 together with the base part 14 (complete ring 20) can not move uncontrollably as one part. Figures 17 to 21 show, in a fifth illustrative embodiment, a cover 1 for a container 2 with an activation protection device 8.5, characterized in that the cover 1 has the external shape of a protective cover 32 with an activation button 3 arranged in the upper part and a practically closed surface. The activation button 3 is provided to discharge a measured amount of atomizer or foam from a product from nozzle 4 or opening 4A via a channel 5. Channel 5 communicates with a short-bar valve of a valve disc 7 in the pressurized container 2 and with the activation button 3, characterized in that the activation button 3 during the first activation communicates with the activation protection device 8.5 as a first opening guarantee. As an activation protection device 8.5, the channel 5 is connected to at least one third rib 12 in the lateral, lower area 9 in the vicinity of the
valve 6; the rib 12 is connected at an external end 28 to an empty cylinder section 21 by a second predetermined rupture zone 29; the empty cylinder section 21 is coaxially supported on the valve disc 7 as a base part 14. Upon expiration of an opposing force during the first manual activation of the activation button 3, the second predetermined rupture zone 29 leads to a predetermined rupture 16 due to the manual force in the third rib 12 and, consequently, it allows the activation of the valve 6. In addition to the third rib 12, this illustrative embodiment also contains a fourth rib 13, which can also be disposed diametrically. Figure 18 shows a detailed enlargement (X9) according to Figure 17 indicating the third and fourth ribs 12, 13 in greater detail. Figure 19 shows a cross section of the detailed enlargement according to Figure 18. Figure 20 shows the lid 1 with an activation button 3 pressed down axially and with a predetermined break 16 for both ribs 12, 13. The figure 21 shows a detailed enlargement (X10) according to Figure 20 in a corresponding cross section. Figure 22 shows a version according to Figure 17 further characterized in that the activation button 3 is connected to the housing 31 by an elastic annular wall. This means that the lid 1 exhibits a closed surface and can still be pressed down axially to activate the valve 6. The dotted line 34 schematically shows the activated activation button 3 pressed down axially, characterized in that the elastic annular wall 33 simultaneously forms a type of hinge.
