Abstract
La presente invencion provee secuencias de polinucleotidos aisladas que codifican las proteinas ET37, TIC81O y T1C812 a partir de BacilIus thuringiensis, y secuencias de nucleotidos para usar en la expresion de T1C809, ET37, TIC81O y T1C812, y fusiones de diversas combinaciones de estas proteinas efectivas desde el punto de vista insecticida tales como TIC 127, en plantas; se describen metodos para hacer y usar las secuencias de polinucleotidos y las proteinas en el desarrollo de celulas de plantas transgenicas y plantas transgenicas que presentan una resistencia a insectos mejorada contra (1) insectos coleopteros incluyendo el gusano de raiz del maiz occidental (Dibrotica virgifera), gusano de raiz del maiz del sur (Dibrotica undecempunctata), gusano de raiz del maiz del norte (Diabrotica barbeci), gusano de raiz del maiz mexicano (Diabrotica virgifera zeae), gusano de raiz del maiz brasileno (Diabrotica balteata) y complejo de gusano de raiz del maiz brasileno (Diabrotica viridula y Diabrotica speciosa), y contra insectos hemipteros tales como chinches Lygus.
