Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un polimero que incluye 50 a 100% en peso, referido al peso del polimero, de unidades recurrentes derivadas de uno o varios compuestos ester etilenicamente insaturados de la formula (I), en la cual R significa hidrogeno o metilo, R1 significa un radical alquilo lineal o ramificado con 7 a 30 atomos de carbono, R2 y R3, independientemente uno del otro, significan hidrogeno o un grupo de la formula - COOR1, en la cual R1 significa hidrogeno o un grupo alquilo con 7 a 30 atomos de carbono, siendo que el polimero es un polimero en estrella con 3 a 21 brazos y cuando menos 3 de los brazos incluyen al menos el 40% en peso, referido al peso de los brazos, de unidades recurrentes derivadas de uno o varios compuestos ester etilenicamente insaturados de la formula (I), en la cual R significa hidrogeno o metilo, R1 significa un radical alquilo lineal o ramificado con 7 a 30 atomos de carbono, R2 y R3, independientemente uno del otro, significan hidrogeno o un grupo de la formula -COOR1, en la cual R1 significa hidrogeno o un grupo alquilo con 7 a 30 atomos de carbono. Asimismo, la presente invencion se refiere a formulaciones de aceite que incluyen los polimeros de conformidad con la invencion. Los polimeros de mayor efecto espesante se puede utilizar en especial como modificadores de viscosidad, mejorados del punto de solidificacion dispersante y/o modificadores de friccion.
