Abstract
Se han descrito una variedad de sistemas mejorados de filtracion de liquidos basados en hidroclones. Los hidroclones generalmente incluyen un tanque con una camara interna y un filtro (preferentemente un filtro de superficie) que esta ubicado dentro de la camara interna. El filtro define una camara de liquido filtrado dentro de la camara interna del tanque. El hidroclon puede operarse de manera que se forme un vortice de liquido entre la pared de la camara y el filtro, en donde el filtro esta localizado en el centro el vortice. Con este arreglo, el filtro actua como un filtro de cruce de flujo. En un aspecto del invento, el filtro es un filtro de niveles. En otro aspecto del invento, el filtro es un filtro de superficie, como por ejemplo, un filtro de superficie electro formado de metal. En algunas configuraciones presentadas, las aperturas en el filtro se arreglan como ranuras que se extienden substancialmente verticales a la ruta del flujo del liquido de manera que estan orientadas substancialmente perpendiculares a la ruta de flujo del liquido en la porcion adyacente del vortice. En otro aspecto del invento, se provee con un ensamblaje circulante de limpieza en la region del hidroclon. El ensamblaje de limpieza se arregla para ayudar a limpiar el filtro y es guiado por el vortice de liquido formado en la region de la camara interna del hidroclon. En otro aspecto del invento, se describen estructuras mejoradas de toma del hidroclon.
