Abstract

Un metodo para reformado por vapor de material carbonaceo en gas de sintesis a traves de la utilizacion de un proceso de calentamiento de etapa unica en un horno giratorio a una temperatura de reformacion elevada de manera que el material carbonaceo experimenta conversion sustancialmente completa a gas de sintesis o por medio de la utilizacion de un proceso de calentamiento multi-etapa, de corriente doble del material carbonaceo hasta una temperatura de reformacion, por debajo de aquella a la cual se vaporizaran comunmente los materiales metalicos, para formar materiales gaseosos y solidos; ademas de reformar los materiales carbonaceos en un horno de reformacion de segunda etapa a una temperatura de reformacion elevada para formar el gas de sintesis; y separar carbon de madera del material solido para procesamiento adicional.
