Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método de criopreservar válvulas cardiacas que comprende las etapas de: a. disecar de un corazón una válvula cardiaca, b. colocar la válvula cardiaca disecada en un medio isotónico con antibióticos y un criopreservativo, c. congelar la válvula cardiaca conforme a un programa de congelación que mantendrá niveles aceptables de viabilidad de las células y d. almacenar la válvula cardiaca a una temperatura inferior a los -132 grados C.
