Abstract

The invention relates to the wood biomass processing devices and can be used in chemical and woodworking industries.The wood chipper comprises a frame, on which is rigidly fixed a body (2) with a cover (3), equipped with a pipeline for removal of the chipped product and a sieve, installed at the inlet of the pipeline. In the body (2) is placed an axle (6), on which are mounted a front disk (8) and a rear disk (7). In the front disk (8) are made holes for product passage, and in its plane, next to each hole, is fixed, by means of locking elements, one knife (9) with two smooth blades each. In the frontal part of the body (2) is made a feeding hole (10), in the lower part and to its left being fixed counterknives (11). Between the disks (7, 8), at their peripheries, are fixed alternate pins (12), on which are movably mounted hammers (13), and blades (17), which are fixed with an offset on the internal surfaces of the disks (7, 8). On the entire perimeter of the hammers (13) and on the working side of the blades (17) are made teeth (14). On the inner surface of the body (2) and the cover (3) are fixed gear segments (15, 23). The counterknives (11) are fastened with screws with the possibility of adjusting the gap between them and the knives (9) with the help of bolts.
