I spend a lot of my free time watching anime. You probably noticed that I've finished a lot more anime than most. This is mostly due to me having a pretty crappy attention span and not liking to start really long anime, unless I know it's going to be really good. So you'll see a lot of shorts, music videos, OVA's, movies etc. on my list. Pretty much what I'm saying is don't be too impressed, since the actual amount of full length anime I've completed isn't that high. As for rating, I'm a pretty lenient rater, enjoyment and atmosphere are probably the most important things for me in an anime. I'm usually fairly open when it comes to anime, I'll try most things as long as I think it might be good, but I'll avoid a few certain genres. I tend to prefer darker anime and stuff that actually makes me think. I still also enjoy light-hearted and over-the top stuff sometimes though, I guess it really depends on my mood. As for favorites I feel like choosing just 5 or 10 favourite anime for all the genres of anime out there is kinda unfair, so I'm going to go ahead and make a few lists for a few different genres ,pretty much extended favorites. Some anime will bleed into other genres so I'm going to try to have unique ones for each list. My programming job has been pretty stable, but static promotion wise so I got interested in finance, investing and making passive income.
And actually I managed to find the love of my life and I'm getting married :o ! She doesn't watch much movies and series though haha, but I showed her a few episodes of Lovely Complex and gave her Yamada Kun And The Seven Witches manga to read and she seems to like them both. And she likes One Piece since she watched it with her brother when she was little but she doesn't remember much. So I'll turn her into anime watcher yet haha!
So yes the world is going crazy, but I can't complain too much on my end. How are you doing my friend, all good?
Yeah, still kicking. My anime watching seems to come in waves these days. However, I've been watching quite a bit lately. Just wading through the sea of seasonal nonsense in an attempt to find the few good ones, haha. Oh, and patiently waiting for the next FAL contest, of course.
Hope you are doing well and still finding some good stuff to watch here and there.
