I totally agree with what you said about anime and its vast world. It’s genuinely impressive how diverse the fanbase is, and being able to have such meaningful conversations with people who have different tastes is something I really appreciate.

I’m glad my explanation helped! Haha, yeah, it makes sense that you first thought of Yuri Is My Job, but Nekopara definitely takes a different approach. And yep, they really toned it down and made it sweeter—which probably fits best with those adorable character designs!

Also, it’s awesome that you like CGDCT! I think that genre deserves way more appreciation, and it was such a nice surprise to come across someone who enjoys those kinds of shows too. I’d be happy to recommend a few hidden gems if you’re ever interested!

But honestly, it made me laugh just picturing that moment. Oh, and about my username—‘Tempest’ comes from That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime’s main character, Rimuru Tempest, and ‘Mehmet’ is my real name. I just combined them to make ‘TempestMehmet.’ Funny enough, I was actually thinking about changing it before you said that—felt like it sounded kinda silly, fjjfkfjfj—but after your reaction, I’ve decided to keep it. Even if it sounds silly, if it makes people smile, then I think it’s a good name (⁠◠⁠‿⁠◕⁠).

I get you, i want almost everything i buy to remain but that is impossible given the limeted space. In my case i got some extra space in a back room in the house below which belonged to my late grandma. I also have my uni books, in a storage room, which i never opened :P
Figures and dolls from anime or more general?
I never was much of a fan of posters, even thought i get it, a girl i know has them in her room and they look quite nice. When I was a kid i liked stickers which i had a closet almost full of them, we still have the closet back in a storage room. Now i like paintings, i got some old ones for more than 20 years in my room. Some time in the future i will see if i can get something new.

The thing is the perfume bottles i like don't contain my favourite perfumes :(
I like for example Jean Paul Gaultier's bottles, but the scent not so much (not that it is bad, but i don't really see myself putting it on).
Vercace has some good looking bottles and the scent is quite good, i especially like their winter ones.
But my favourite scents are something like prada l'homme, mont blanc explorer, dior sauvage or georgio armani aqua di gio which most of them are either summer scents or great for all seasons, so mostly soft or gentle scents.
For my next purchase I am looking probably for something a bit more expensive and unique like tome ford or creed aventus, mostly for special ocasions like some weddings i got to attend to in a few moths.
Man... having a perfume bottle shatter :(

Right now I am stuck at Reading Ordinary men by Christofer R. Browning, mostly because I can't find any free time lately (having a 6/7 8 hour job, going to the gym and also sometimes go out for a coffe or a drink with friends leaves you with very little time and energy) and if i do i play some games (2-3 hours at most). Recently i got some books about some not well known greek myths or facts about greek mythology because I was in my mythology mood ( I also got a similar one for my little brother as a gift for his bd, he also enjoys reading). I also got a book written by a friend of mine about the greek pontian dialect and the famous 1984 by George Orwell. The next book i buy will probably be either be one of Shakespeare's work or one of the few in my list about self improvement.

After i finished with my uni I also got around with reading manga instead of watching anime, probably because it consumes less time reading 1-3 chapters than watching 1 episode, it was a change I didn't put a lot of thought behind back then.

I’m glad you finally found out about Vanilla! She’s definitely one of the standout characters in Nekopara along with Chocola—got that quiet, deadpan charm that just works.

As for Nekopara… I get why you might hesitate. A lot of people do when they hear where it originated from. The original visual novel is actually an eroge/hentai game. But don’t worry—the anime adaptation is not hentai at all. It’s more of a wholesome, slice-of-life series. The story takes place in a world where humans live alongside catgirls, who can talk and are treated like adopted companions. The main character opens a patisserie (a dessert café), and Vanilla and Chocola help him run it.

It’s packed with sweet moments, a bit of lighthearted comedy, and some warm drama here and there. If you're expecting deep plot twists or intense action, this might not be it—but if you’re in the mood for something relaxing, cute, and visually pleasant, Nekopara definitely delivers. The animation and character designs are actually pretty solid too. And if you end up liking the vibe, you can always check out the games later.

By the way, how did you find me? I rarely write on forums.

I mean, not really, bcs i′m new to this genre, haha (there′s only 2 yuri mangas translated to my mother tongue so far, and seeing how it looks with most yuri anime i just assumed it would be the same with yuri mangas, so i was pretty much avoiding it). But i′m currently reading "I can′t say no to the lonely girl" and it′s reaaally relaxing and cute so far ^^ What yuri mangas do you find the best? Maybe your top 5?

haha yesss, uni life is such a rollercoaster. i'm surviving off coffee at this point lol. glad that helped though! switching your amazon to spain sounds like a smart move, sometimes the international versions have waaaay more variety. hopefully shipping isn’t too crazy expensive tho.

and omg i'm actually so grateful my manga store has all kinds of stuff, even less known mangas and manwhas. i always cave in to the gachas there tho, and somehow i never get the one i actually want hahaha. on another note, what kind of manga are you into lately?? i would loveee to read more mangas but i'm also trying to save more money, it's a struggle lol.

If people don't like a celebrity, why don't they just ignore them. It just so easy to not pay attention to them. Hating celebrities is just as irrational as worshipping them. If I see something I don't like I just scroll pass. It is not that hard.

Lately im into history so i got some history books. Most books i have are about philosophy (you know the usual nietzsche, dostoyevsky, marcus aurelius, dazai osamu, socrates etc.) and about self improvment. I very much dislike digital books because i'm in front of my screen for the most part of the day bacause of work and also i don't know how to explain it but i like to touch the book and turn the pages it feels relaxing. I would like to one day make my own small library here at home with books i've read :D

I want to buy some manga and novels but i have like 100+ more books i want to buy so... :P

The physical copies of games i got are mostly for the old PlayStations rpgs like prince of persia, assasins creed, racing (grand turismo) etc and now i want to buy some old jrpgs like persona. The other games (mostly for pc) i got throught steam tbh, it gets hearder and harder to find physical copies of pc games lately and it's a hassle to try and find some.

Also i can't say i collect but i have quite a few perfumes/fragrances and as much as i can i like to keep the bottles.

In general, i like to have physical things mostly because to me they are part of who i am and because i want to keep memories thrught them.

What about you do you have any hobbies besides watching anime? Do you like to collect physical media and stuff?
