Hi, I'm trying to start a club for critical and knowledgable anime fans. I came across your account in the "World Masterpiece Theater" club and you seem to fit the bill. The two purposes of the club are to foster community via the club Discord server, and to create a robust poll of the "greatest anime of all time", voted on by members in a thread on the front page of the club. Each member would post their personal top ten list in the thread, titled "Post Your Top Ten", and then eventually I will compile all the lists into a final aggregate. Great review of Mujin Wakusei Survive. I'd just like to add how badly the whole survival theme was portrayed in the anime. From trying to start a fire with some random rocks instead of looking for flint, to walking into clearly an animal lair without any hesitation, or drinking water directly from a newfound water source (do people from the 23rd century forget about pathogens?) I don't expect an adventure kid show to be some super realistic portrayal of living in the wild or anything. But couldn't the writers do basic research on survivalism for a show that has a goddamn survival in its title? I was rolling my eyes the whole time watching this show. Overall, just wasted potential

i just wanna also say thank you for the fire punch review. i felt crazy reading that manga and seeing so much praise, just wanted to feel less alone lmao. you expressed how I felt, and agree with Chia0tzu below me too

Loved your fire punch review, pretty much put my thoughts into organized words. People seem to ignore that it’s just not a well told story (thematically and especially not plot wise) because it’s crazy and “raw” or something.
