>> I've recently installed TikTok and I've seen the most stupida shits in this app.
your first mistake was installing TikTok lol

>> this guy eats anything that's green and talks about how you should eat organic things from our garden. Like no shit we didn't know about it already.
I've seen a lot of these "organic influencers" on YT as well. Guess what, two of them died because they didn't get enough nutrients from the food they were eating. Who would've thunk that only eating leaves, grass and fruits is not enough

Yeah, and they do tell you the most basic of stuff like it's some magic pill or something. One guy was like "you shouldn't drink coca cola", and sold his "non-organic detox" course.

>> so you can just stay at her face and let your bullets in.
this sounds so much like a sexual innuendo lol. The internet has ruined me. I'll definitely try out cuphead sometime in the future

>> Shunsui's bankai borderline soloed Lille Barro
It kinda did solo him, but you know classic Shounen bullshit where the villain has to come back 3-4 times to create "tension". They also killed the sniper guy with one of the most plot device macguffin of all time. His niece just incidentally had a "god reflecting" mirror as a weapon.

>> I cannot explain how fking mad I was when he returned in the latest arc
And he's quite a shit character. I would've loved if Ulquoirra came back...

>> Did Urahara use bankai in anime yet? If not then you'll soon realize why I hate grimjoww even more.
Not yet, I guess we'll get it in the final season coming out in June or so. Lol, now I'm interested on how grimjoww can become even more unlikable

>> pernida is a literal hand (forgot it's ability)
He's the soul king's left hand or something. And he can send nerves or something and make his opponents actions involuntary or something. It's not even been two weeks since I watched it and I don't even remember his powers lol

>> Lille barro is the only guy with an ability that we though Quincy were supposed to have.
bro bought a sniper to a sword fight

>> Urahara's bankai is the second coolest bankai in the show after Shunsui's
I also like Rukia's bankai. It's pretty cool (literally).

>> I've recently bought a PS4 as I cannot wait any longer to play Bloodborne
I had also rented a PS4 to play Bloodborne, but I got scammed as it didn't have it, when the seller clearly said it did. At least I got the refund

>> I'm like 50% in the base game and yett to touch the dlc
I've heard the best bosses, Ludwig, Orphan of Kos, Lady Maria (or something), are in the DLC. I haven't played it but I have seen full playthroughs

>> First of the atmosphere is incredible and combat is so good.
Yeah, I absolutely love the Gothic vibe that the game has. Also, the protag looks cool af

>> And the first area of the game "Central Yarnham" is objectively greatest first lvl in souls game history.
Really? I have to play it some time. I fucking hate Sony for not releasing BB on PC. Maybe I'll try out the emulators

>> sprint and roll are the same button so when you are sprinting and if you press circle
this is one of my biggest issues with fromsoft. Why the fuck do you have one button for two actions? It's so fucking stupid. That's why in ER, DS we roll on button release and not button press, which is such horseshit
Johan__Liebert_ Jan 25, 6:02 AM
>> There are like 6/7
6 7, lol...

Sorry, I've been brainrotted by my cousins

>> You really should play it man. The music in the game is otherworldly too.
Yeah, you kinda sold me on HK. I'll definitely give it a try. I've picked up guitar and I want to at least learn one or two songs by Feb/March this year. Maybe after that I'll give it another try

>> The moon phase is her last phase. Its honestly easier than the first 2 phases.
Man, the last phase was the hardest for me. I somehow kept getting through the first 2 phases, but the 3rd one destroyed me everytime

>> I refuse to believe there will be a ER2.
I just want another DLC. There are still so many questions unanswered. I know Miyazaki likes to not reveal everything, but c'mon

>> And without stagger I dont think I want to chase around a stupid alien for 2 minutes.
I had the chase that fucking dolphin so many times during my "most weapons run". Seriously, if it's not the balls or some hammer, EB is so fucking annoying to fight. And not to mention elden stars, such a garbage move

>> There are few captains that I really care about
I only liked Kenpachi, Byakuya (who doesn't really do much after the first arc) and Shinsui.

>> That Ukitake guy was wasted lmao
Yeah. The old man is like "you two are the oldest captains" or some shit, and Ukitake literally doesn't do jack shit in the anime

>> I was really invested in Starkk but dude got like 5 min of screentime probably
Same. I only liked Ulquiorra and Stark. I don't even remember how Stark lost, like who tf killed him I don't remember.

>> Baragaan has a cool looking ability and thats it
is this the death guy? Yeah his ability was pretty cool, but holy shit his character was so poorly written

>> I hate Grimjow and I dont even remember others.
Me too. Fucker just doesn't die, he comes back in the final arc like wtf. Come to think of it, no one dies in this show. I only remember Ulquiorra and 1st division captain dying, and both pretty cool characters.

>> Sado is good for the "never wins" meme and thats it.
The thing is, I kinda liked his backstory and his relationship with Ichigo, but he's such a waste of a character. Reminds me of Rock Lee

>> and I also hate Ishida
My man really "betrayed" the team. What I hate about him is that he doesn't change at all. He's literally the same 1D character as he was when he was introduced.

>> I fking hate Renji and also the Kenpachi co captain guy the bald one.
Lol, why Renji? I like him. Oh man the Bald guy and the Pretty guy are so fucking annoying. All the bald guy does is shout

>> first of all his ability is hecking cool
it's cool, but for me the whole quincy thing feels so out of place. Weren't quincies only supposed to fight with bows and shit? How do they have JoJo villain like powers now? I got spoiled about his fight against Urahara, and now I can't fucking wait to see Urahara's bankai

>> I mean didnt Ichigo also learn bankai in like few hours when most "captains" take years?
I think he learnt it in 2 days. The previous record was Urahara who learnt it in 3 days. Also, it takes captains "decades" to learn Bankai.
Dude, everytime I saw Zangetsu, all I remembered is that Gintama parody of Bleach where Zangetsu is trying to train Gintoki but he just goes to sleep lmao

>> I also heard someone made a game off of that scene.
lol wtf. That's sounds hilarious

>> Atleast OPeth and Gojira are active and I still have a chance to see them live unlike Floyd.
I heard Gojira are coming to India in 2027. Not sure about Opeth though
Johan__Liebert_ Jan 24, 2:24 AM
Yo dude, been sick and I haven't moved from my bed in like 5 days

>> Im 24 and more I grow up more I dont do anything lmao.
Fuck man, I really hate my college self for not doing much, now

>> Hollow Knight got me into metroidvania and I now love metroidvania more than I love souls
I'll try it, but I'm not really much of a gamer. I only play games that have a good story, like E33, ER, Dark Souls, Sekiro etc etc. So basically, for me, the story is paramount, and not gameplay or graphics or anything else. I'll definitely give it another try someday

>> did you quit on "Hilda Berg" by any chance?
I don't remeber the name of the boss, I remember it was lady that turned into a plane or something like that. It was kinda early in the game I think.

>> the boss that turns into constellations?
I think so yeah. I think she also turns into a crescent moon??... might be wrong though

>> That was my first road block. Took me like 30+ tries.
I gave up after like 10 tries or so..

>> I have used one soccery I believe its name was carian soverignity or something the spell that relanna use
Yeah, I did a whole playthrough with that spell. It's cracked af. I think I 4 hit Morgott without any buffs whatsoever

>> I have done ds1 mage build and its the best thing in the game.
Also DS1 doesn't have an FP bar right? So magic is just broken in DS1

>> I LIKE Relanna's theme the best. I think not many people appreciate it
Yeah Relanna's theme is great as well. I didn't remember it much during my first playthrough as I was too busy running for my life lol. I hate how she didn't even get a cutscene, she's such a cool boss. I don't like her two frametrap moves, but other than that she's great

>> Vordt, Soul of Cinder,
Yeah, Soul of Cinder has great music. Plin plin plon

>> I have played sekiro and elden so much that I dont think Im ever gonna do a normal playthrough in my life ever again.
Yeah, me too. But I'm not into speedrunning and such, so at this point I'm just waiting for ER2 lol

>> Thank god I can now kill him in few tries. I was traumatized by the intro as I would watch the cutscene, kill radagon and intsantly die to elden beast.
For me Radabeast is probably one of the easiest bosses in the game. Radagon is just scriptable, and Elden Beast is annoying af, but is pretty easy. I was trying to use various weapons to finish the game, and every time, the final boss was the easiest.

>> Lies of P has the best usage of shortcuts in any souls game Ive played but for a particular lvl
I'll have to agree with this even though I've only played the game for ~2 hours. The shortcuts are pretty cool, unlike the ones in DS3

DS3 shortcuts are genuienly more convoluted than the actual long path for me

>> I dont really like Aizen ngl. i was tired of this "oh I planned everything ooga booga" type shit like real quick.
I mean yeah, the main issue with that is that there is no foreshadowing to Aizen planning Ichigo's ENTIRE FUCKING LIFE; so it just feels like Kubo's pulling some random stuff out his ass. Just one or two scenes of "someone looking into Ichigo on a monitor" would've made it so much better.

>> One thing I hate about Bleach is that there are way too many characters. I forgot the name but the shinji group were so interesting and had so much potential
the biggest lost potential for me is Urahara. He's such a cool character, but gets little to no screentime. Instead we get some random ass fullbringers, which is probalby the worst fucking canon arc in Bleach. The whole thing is so fucking stupid

Even the Shinji group was kinda meh. I only liked Shinji and that one girl in glasses. Everyone else is so boring

>> Lets not even talk about like 300 extra characters that are introduced for sake of introducing. Not getting anything in the show afterwards.
seriously, we have some random ass captain fighting some random ass Espada (however you call them) for 4+ episodes with the Espada resurrecting 4+ times. Gets real fucking boring when I don't give a shit about either of them

>> Also what the fk even is Ichigo? He was 'human' when we first met the guy working as a substitue shinigami. and by the end of the show my guy is like 25% shinigami, 25% human, 25% hollow, 25% quincy like what the fk?
Classic power scaling issue in shounen anime. Also, again no foreshadowing so you just know that Kubo's simply making stuff up at this point. I was groaning when it was revealed that Ichigo's dad was a shinigami, when they "revealed" that his mom was a quincy, I literally couldn't give a shit.

>> Who do you like the most as a charcter? My favorite character has to be Urahara.
Same, I've liked him ever since he was introduced. Shame he doesn't get to do much. Kenpachi is also pretty cool. I hate how Orihime was actually a likeable character in the beginning, but slowly just turned into booba lady. Sado just cannot win any fights and Ishida doesn't change at all. The first two arcs are my favourite, after that power scaling creeps up, and everything goes downhill

>> My favorite villain is this guy called "askin nakk le vaar" i dunno if youve watched its recent season.
is that the one quincy who has the power to "make a lethal dose"? I don't relly remember any of the minor antagonist's name. But if he is the lethal dose guy, then yeah, he's pretty cool. My fav villain is Ulquiorra. He was the only Arrancar that I gave a shit about. Also Ichigo vs Ulquiorra, best fight

Ichigo vs Aizen was so stupid, cool af but stupid. Aizen has been around for what 200+ years? and Ichigo just gains some new power in 2 months to defeat him. Like what horseshit

>> I dont think I will my guy. Ive wacthed enough of the clips on my instagram.
Lmao, I was being sarcastic. S3 is so fucking ass

>> I really wish I could watch Opeth and Gojira live before I die.
I wanted to watch Pink Floyd and Linkin Park but neither of them will be happening which makes me sad
Johan__Liebert_ Jan 16, 6:44 AM
Sup my man, been a while.

>> How's life been lately?
Same old, same old. Feels like I'm passing days here. I'm not even playing an active role in my life, shit happens and I'm like "guess we're doing this now". I miss being a kid

>> Hollow Knight has to be the greatest game ever created.
Damn, I also started playing it like ages ago, but haven't had time to continue. I even bought a Steam Deck to play games, but I'm just using it as a home server lmao

>> Also not a metroidvania but holy fk Cuphead is absolutely goated game.
I gave up on Cuphead it was too hard for me. I gave up on the plane boss. I did enjoy it a bit, but damn it's tough. Also, I love the retro art

I finally did a mage build in Elden Ring, and the only spell I used was Carian Slicer, lmao. It was like a meele run, but with a staff. But, Carian Slicer is absolutely cracked, melts bosses like nothing else

>> Apparently I am in the sekiro speedrun leaderboards. I am at 104th place.
Yooo, that's crazy. The fastest I've finished Sekiro is like 2.5 hrs, since I always go out of my way to fight Father Owl.

>> Only 30 min or so to get to top 1 lmao. Imma get it soon (Delusional)
Believe it dattebayo. The WR is 41 mins?

>> They def made dlc boss theme lot better than the base game
definitely. Midra's theme is my favourite in the entire game. Romina's is also great

>> Fromsoft emptied their tank in ds3 interms of music.
I don't remember many themes from DS3 either. I remember Vordt (cause of the memes) and the dancer and that's it

>> There is only one thing that I hate about elden ring and its fking crafting system. There are like 50 cookbooks I need to find.
Yeah, I can craft sleep pots for the Godskin duo, but I'm too lazy to get the cookbook, crack pots, lilys and fuck knows what else for it. I only crafted a few things on my first playthrough, cause I already had most of the items. Never touched crafting again

>> I recently used mods for Hollow Knight Silksong and Hollow Knight.
I did a randomizer run on ER. Had to read through wayyy too many documentation to get it working on Linux, but finally did it. Finally modding the game for me was more enjoyable than playing the actual thing, lol

>> Everytime I enter PCR's arena Im scared of being flashbanged in phase 2.
And me everytime I enter Radagon's arena. The cutscene starts with a flashbang. I always look away

>> Lies of P weapon assembling system is one of the coolest in the genre.
I thought it was pretty cool as well. It's pretty well thought out and I can see why people like it, but for me it was just tedious. I'm not the kind of person to try out different weapons, spells, etc etc, as it feels like "studying" to me, idk, maybe I'm just weird. Even in my first ER playthrough, I had no idea about Ashes of War until I reached Fire Giant

>> But it also like ds3 in a sense that you have literal no freedom for exploration.
The interconnectedness of the level is pretty good, and almost fromsoft like, but yeah I agree, after ER, I want something open world. Even in E33 I was kinda pissed a few times at all the invisible walls they put everywhere

>> Also the final boss of the lies of p dlc has to be in my top 5 favorite souls bosses.
I've seen the design, looks cool af

>> I liked doing challenge runs.
That's cool, my brain just throws out the "you're wasting your time" card everytime I reopen an already played game. ER and E33 were the only exceptions to this.

>> Been watching or reading anything lately?
Started watching Bleach cause I had nothing else to do. It's pretty good, the plot is actually nice and Aizen is a fucking menace holy shit. Now I finally under all the "Aizen planned the bleach manga" memes.

One thing I hate about Bleach, are the stupid side fights, where some stupid ass captain is fighting some no name ass monster. They are so fucking boring that I just ended up fast forwarding them. Also, I hate how the monsters refuse to die, they come back 2, 3 sometimes 4 times. It becomes predictable and boring after it happens after a few times.

Ichigo vs Ulquiorra was fantastic, though. If only the characters were built up BEFORE a fight so I could give a shit.

Also watched a bunch of anime movies. Blue Giant was really good. Hyakuemu was also pretty good

>> I read one punch manga and I fking loved it. Garou vs Saitama made me come.
It is a visual spectacle. You should watch S3, it definitely does the manga justice

>> Also heardd they are remaking Yoshiwara in flames arc and making it a movie. Cant fking wait. Def top 5 gintama arcs

Hell yeah, it's gonna be crazy.

Btw, Dream Theater is coming to India (I couldn't believe it either), excited to go see them at the end of this month
fausifahrial Jul 25, 2025 11:49 PM
Happy birthday! :)
Johan__Liebert_ Jul 5, 2025 9:04 AM
Yeah, that doesn't sound easy at all lol.

I finally got over my Elden Ring addiction. Finished Expedition 33 yesterday, and holy fucking shit that game is absolutely goated. Amazing characters, fantastic story, phenomenal and I mean absolutely phenomenal music. Also, the bosses are way better than Elden Ring's. I still think I like Elden Ring a bit more, but it's pretty close.

Just listen to this shit
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAQ4W4ew9is
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqizXvvWnmM
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_r2iKZ1NWTU
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yakOBIoyoik

Every piece of music in this game is absolutely amazing.

Every fucking boss has phenomenal music. In ER I remember like 5 or so boss scores, this game I just stand still in boss fight to listen to more of the music

I've never got holy pots either. I didn't even know you could craft stuff until like my 3rd or 4th playthrough

>> oh the chicken legs lmao
it does look like one lol. Yeah it does take 5 business days to swing. Did a whole playthrough with it, was pretty fun

>> I completed my first playthrough at lvl 167. dlc with lvl 256. now I complete game before lvl 100
Same. I completed my first playthrough at lvl 190-ish, went into the DLC on NG+ at lvl 210 or something. Now I'm at level 50-70 on finishing the game

>> with balls I can literally do anything atp.
this sounds insane out of context

>> how do you do this though?
Go to nexus mods. Get the mod that says unlock all graces and that's it. I don't have the link with me, but it's pretty popular. You should find it even if you search on google

>> when you enter his arena and he hits you with arrow
The first time I entered PCR's arena, I got one shotted by his flying meteor attack he does

>> gmaeplay wise I like this than any fromsoft game except for sekiro.
the gameplay was good, but I found the level design lacking. I think it's just me an my obsession with fantastical settings, but I just did not like the atmosphere

>> I have completed 5 playthrough since last time you commented here.
bruh how? I was getting bored to death just walking through an area
Johan__Liebert_ Jun 22, 2025 9:37 AM
Sorry for the late replys. I've simply been wasting time rewatching Vsauce and Nigahiga for the umpteenth time. Don't feel like doing much else. I haven't even done any work at my job for the past 4 days or so...

>> Ive watched enough speedrun that I can script his death
I've seen runners just stagger him to death, idk how they do it because it never worked for me.

>> he just runs away and does a million damage.
that do be Maliketh. He probably would've been my fav base game boss if he didn't scurry around so much

>> I just hit them with holy pots eveeyfking time
another tidbit, I've never used any consumables ever, lol. I've seen people two shotting death birds with holy pots

>> especially the one on consecrated snowfield
that one sucks balls. Not to mention there's a mausoleum throwing projectiles at you the entire fucking time

>> scavengers curved sword with occult infusion has 112 blleed build up and I have two of them so I bleed proc the boss like every other combo
still haven't tried them, maybe I will someday. The Bloodfiend's arm you get in DLC does 212 bleed buildup, it's actually fucking insane

>> lmao armors are the only thing I dont give a fk about
damn, for me I always used to get the DTS armour, but now I always get the Solitary Knight armour from the DLC.

>> fist weapon has like stupid fast charged attacks also you do almost as much poise damage as colosal weapons but hit 2x faster.
right, which is kinda nuts. I remember using Gut's sword on my first playthough and the balls do better poise damage than a huge fucking hunk of iron which is pretty nutty

>> idk I think Blankz won this years bingo since gino wasnt participating. if he was then it wouldve been him.
yeah Gino is John Elden Ring himself. Dude beat the whole game with just his fists without weapons, like bruh what!?

>> imagine this guy did god run with all 7 souls game without taking any damage but also at lvl 1
yeah, this too

>> also this guy did no hit elden ring with only fist
ah you've seen that too. I first heard this in the bingo tournament commentary and I was like "no fucking way", but apparently there was a fucking way

>> he took like 12 hrs to fist his way through elden beast.
the amount of patience this guy has... I get cranky if the fight takes more than 5 mins

>> the way he dominated star0crhris at finals was just insane.. he also dominated the nightreign tournament
yeah and we went with a meme build against Domo and still won. Saw the nightreign tournament too, he's too op

>> in ds2 the lower your equip load the less fall damage you take
this feels pretty realistic but would be really annoying while playing

>> also every playthrough I farm for like 10 minutes and get 15/20 gold pickled foul foot and I just eat that after every boss kill
I used to do this too, but now guess because I got a bit better at the game, the golden scarab is enough for me. I spent so much time farming this shit to get my first playthrough guy till lvl 520

>> dragon crest +3 is a pain lmao
it is, but since I play with graces unlocked, it isn't an issue for me. Also, for me Haligtree was the best area of the game. I think I had the most fun exploring the Haligtree

>> blue dancer charm is a terrible talisman
used it once on my first playthrough and never again. I got two shot by radhan without any clothes

>> elden ring has perfected this but ds2 has better infusion system than ds1 and 3.
Imma be honest with you, I never used infusion in DS3. I hardly changed/tried other weapons. The only thing I cared about were flask and weapon upgrades

>> this is basically the lore of both friede and gael in short
that was nice. One thing I still dislike about DS3 is how cryptic the lore is. Unless you read all item descriptions or watch a fuck ton of Vaati vidoes, you won't understand much. They did a much better job with ER

I still don't understand what the "first flame" is. No idea

>> There is fairly new souslike called lies of p which shows you where to go for a particular npc quest and its simply way too helpful.
Tried lies of p, but didn't like the level design. Idk why, maybe because I simply don't like Steampunk.

>> most speedrunner jump hit the first two slams which I simply cannot
I can and do do this. Guess I'm a part speedrunner

>> but its not problem if you are using starfist or iron balls
yeah lol. Everytime I'm fighting the final boss, I take two weapons, one for Radagon and starfist for Elden Beast. I like the Radagon fight and dislike cheesing him with balls

>> hope youll like the game
unfortunately, didn't like DS1 at all. I found the gamemplay to be extremely slow, which is a real dealbreaker for me. I want my games to be fast paced or atleast normal paced. DS3's gameplay is the slowest I can endure, DS1 is even slower. My dude gets knocked down and takes 3 business days to wake up. Also I didn't like enemy placement how enemies are placed at the edge of a ledge and you HAVE to kill them to progress. I'd always either fall down the edge or hit my weapon against a wall and get knocked down.

I killed the two gargoyles boss and then refunded the game. I just wasn't having fun. Maybe I'll pick it up sometime later. It did take me 2 whole years and 3 tries to get into Elden Ring.
Johan__Liebert_ Jun 15, 2025 11:14 AM
>> I still absolutely suck at Maliketh and Placidusax
I used to suck at Maliketh, but somehow I got good, idk how. Placidusax is probably in the top 5 easiest rememberances for me.

>> I still find Maliketh to be much harder than usual bosses
I think it's mainly because of his percentage HP loss attacks. You can't even heal unless you avoid his 5 move combo, and if you get hit while destined death is on you, you are surely dead. Death rite birds can eat shit and die. Fuckers are so annoying to fight.

>> dk how you struggle against it but fair.
because he's was in the scarlet rot pool. I had to fight 3 bosses at once, the dragonkin, the scarlet rot bs and the atrocious camera. During my first playthrough, I was so overleveled that I fought him while afflicted with rot and still got him first try

>> dUDE GOT STAGGERED WITH 5 CHARGED HEAVY and dude got stunned for like 10 secs while I hit him with 3800 dmg each
elden beast usually does get staggered with 5 charged heavy, with starfist + cragblade + the posture break physick tear. I usually almost always one cycle Elden Beast, at least until NG+5

>> For dark souls series only buff I use is resins
the only buff I used in DS3 were the embers and that's it. Mainly I don't like learning about different buffs/items because I'm here to play games not to read mentality lol. The only items I check thoroughly are armours and weapons

>> ds1 doesnt have fp thing
Imagine this in Elden Ring. You'd simply destroy all the bosses

>> that much then there are katanas and curved swords. which are literally made for bleeds. with longer reach and much better bleed buildup.
most katanas only have like 55 bleed buildup while the balls have 45. Only a difference of 10. I did a run with Rakshasa's great katana, and I would almost always almost kill the boss before getting the first bleed proc, unless I use the occult whetblade

>> Fromsoft overdid this "delayed attacks. watch outt"
definitely. It makes sense when Godrick delays his axe hit or a hit with his dragon hand as they would be heavy af, but Margit/Morgott have the equivalent of a twig in their hands and act like they're gonna swing the giant crusher or something.

>> Blanxz is my favorite souls youtuber alongside LilAggy
I used to watch LilAggy, but I guess I grew out of it. Saw Blanxz first in Domo's bingo tournament, dude's cracked.

>> I also love this guy GinoMachino. This guy is simply cracked at elden ring
he's probably the best ER player on YT. Like holy shit he fights all the bosses like they're scripted. Also, iirc he's the only one who won both bingo tournaments without a single defeat.

>> Im always at the light roll
is light roll really that different than medium roll? I found no difference, but I guess that's just me being bad

>> use the more gold on killing enemy talisman
ayy me too. The Golden Scarab, it think it's called. I always like these talismans that get you more XP. Even in DS3 I immediately put on the serpent ring to get more souls from bosses. You can hot swap talismans in ER, but I always forget to do it, so the Golden Scarab stays on

>> 2: ritual sword
Our playstyles are quite different. I usually have ritual shield. Guess you for more damage, while I go for more defense. The talismans I usually have are the Dragon Crest +3, gold scarab, ritual shield and I always forget to get the last talisman slot lol

>> also relanna's cameo is one of my favorite talisman
it works with uchi and great katana. Not sure about other weapons it works with

>> Like everytime you get into new area you are awarded with some of the worse ganks you can imagine
I have heard about this. I've heard that the enemies chase you to the ends of the earth if you don't kill them.

>> and levelling system is trash too like you need to upgrade one stat for dodge i-frame like really?
wait, really? That's a bit stupid

>> Hot take but I think ds2 has the best world building of any souls game except for elden ring
I don't think this is a hot take. DS3 is so fucking cryptic with its lore, like I had no idea why I was fighting bosses. ERs lore is much more palatable. Atleast I knew what the objective was, with DS3 I still know wtf a "lord of cinder" is, or what the "ashen one" is. I think Fromsoft realised the errors of their ways after making Sekiro. Sekiro had the easiest to follow story and I think they incorporated much of that in ER. One thing that Fromsoft still sucks balls at are NPC quests. They're so stupid and so difficult to follow. I missed every NPC quest in ER except for Fia's (which I had to look up on how to do).

>> I really love his teleporttion
I think it's bs. Especially how he can do an attack as soon as he teleports and it could be the point blank lightning which is almost impossible to dodge

>> I used to dislike his triple slam attack but now that I know the timing for it I love it
that's another one that I don't like. The explosion isn't at all connected to his slam down. I just circle around him and he misses, hate it

>> plus midir is really nice that he gives his head to hit many times
people say this about bayle too, but I just do not see the opening lol

>> for my first playthrough I had 30 hp, 20 stamina
I could never. I NEED stamina. I'll use everything that might give me more stamina.

>> Just went to this place destroyed his two greatest soldiers and hunted him as well.
Stared DS1 and I am so fucking lost at the first bonfire in the circular area place

>> I wanna purchase ps just for this gmae lmao
I got a PS5 for rent to play Bloodborne because they said they had it, got scammed as they didn't have it. Fortunately got my refund

>> gaius has the worst hitboxes in any souls game Ive ever played
idk how, but the hitless community decided he was the easiest boss to hitless. His boar acts like a hamster on cocaine. For me it's not even a debate on Giaus vs Metyr though. Metyr is way worse

Played Nightrein for a while, didn't really like it. Yeah it's ER, but doesn't feel the same. Only defeated the first boss, then refunded the game
Johan__Liebert_ Jun 5, 2025 8:48 AM
>> And thats not something I can do. My family also told how I shouldnt just look at the money.
it's great that you know what you want to do, I'm just going with the flow at this moment lol. I don't even play an active part in my life anymore, shit happens and I'm like - welp I guess we're doing this now.

>> do you play on keyboard or controller?
I used to play on keyboard, now I've switched to controller and it's equally hard for me

>> Also sekiro is the only game I can say Im really good at
Same. I am good at almost all major Elden Ring bosses, but boy do I suck at the rest. I saw this dragonscale blade you can get from the dragonkin soldier in the rot pool, and I wanted to do a whole run with it. So, I got a mod to cheat my way to locations, got starfist at +16 around 30 vig, still that piece of shit boss took me like 9 tries or so.

>> and since elden ring is so huge and open I have the knowledge of every important item locations so I fight margit after 3/4 hrs of setup
Same here, but I've downloaded a mod that unlocks all graces so I can skip the travelling and just go through legacy dungeons. I've actually never ever used golden vow, flame grant me strength etc lol. I learned about incantations on my 3rd playthrough lmao. Before that I used to think that you HAD to choose the astrologer or some other class if you wanted to use any magic/faith stuff...

>> like I will have +12 iron balls with craigblade
dude, strafist/iron balls with craigblade is just gg for the entire game

>> I still to this day have yet to fully learn Margit/Morgot moveset
Hot take, I don't like Margit/Morgott moveset. Mainly because for some attacks, especially for Morgott, you have no choice but to run away, and I absolutely hate that.

>> Bro I still after 12/13 runs have yet to go to jarburg
Dude lol, I also learnt about jarburg from Elden Ring bingo videos. I had like 130 hours in the game and I was like, wtf is Jarburg? Also, have you seen Elden Ring bingo brawlers tournaments? It's like esports but actually enjoyably addicting.

>> isnt that just like a quest place of the pot guys?
that's the one

>> Just need a good buff routine.
never liked buffing myself. Even now, after 400 hours in the game, the only buffs I've used are Ritual Sword talisman, two handed talisman and craigblade.

>> But fk everything one shots u. Thats the only problem.
I can imaging. You will have like 0 HP. My playstyle is to basically trade blows with the bosses. I'll have all the defensive talismans, armour and flasks and simply bonk and get bonked.

>> you know ds2 is the closest game to elden ring interms of its freedom and build variety and also how big the game is
that's interesting to know. I've seen almost everyone shitting on DS2 because of how the levelling system is broken, and the hitboxes are weird and how the bosses are not that good etc etc. I'm definitely going to try out DS1 this month. I'll let you know how I liked it.

>> Im shocked how much elden ring-like it is than dark souls 1 and 3
DS3 is very linear, even through I don't really mind it. DS3 map is similar to Sekiro's in terms of how much freedom you get

>> Radagon wouldve been my favorite base game boss if it wasnt attached with Elden Beast.
Radagon is my fav base game boss. I don't like his teleportation, but it's whatever. Who's your fav in base game?

>> I especially hate his like flurry attack he does like 9/10 attacks and I literally cannot outrun that shit coz hie lunges with every attacks
Same. All he does is stomp and roar like a retard. Not to mention the aoe from his stomp will microstagger you even if you're out of range

>> I first tried. Gundyr (both), vordt, midir
oh yeah, killed vordt on first try too. Damn, how'd you get midir first try? He destroyed me. I still have no idea how I beat him lmao. I just panic rolled to victory

>> I really hate heavy weapon in ds3 like really hate coz there is different stats for equip load and stamina
yeah, this caught me off guard holy shit. I thought it was gonna be like ER, but no there's "vitality" for equip load. What tf kinda naming is that though? Who'd think "vitality" is for how much weight you can carry around

>> plus ds3 is very punishing interms of stamina so I prefer weapon with lower stamina usage.
I levelled up only 3 stats. HP, stamina and vitality lmao. My build was like 60 HP, 50 stam, 40 vit, 20 str and like 9 everything else. Also, I got the stamina ring which helped a lot

>> it was such a cool boss. but still his phase 1 or 2 you can literally backstab farm your way to victory.
Since I had a long ass weapon, in phase 1, multiple watchers got hit by my one swing lol. It was so satisfying to see so much HP drain from the boss. Phase 2 also wasn't too hard, as DS3 bosses don't have that aggressive tracking that ER bosses have, so most of the time the bosses would just be hitting air

>> pontiff planned everything and let aldritch devour gwyndolin and absorb all his abilities which he fight us with
Is gwyndolin the Marika of Dark Souls?

>> lmao. so did you keep distance?
nope. Went saddles blazing into the fight.

>> Ive heard lot of good things about Ludwig from Bloodborne and I cant wait.
I've already seen a complete Bloodborne playthrough and it seems really good. Ludwig's music is great. I really want Bloodborne on PC

>> I refer Gael but its pretty close
yeah, though I do prefer Isshin mainly because he tests everything you learn throughout the game. Parrying swords/aoe, jumping, lightening reversal, mikiri counter...

Can you imaging fighting Elden Beast without Torrent? I would've been even more pissed than I am now lol

>> Metyr from dlc is she.
Metyr is probably the garbagest boss from the DLC. So fucking stupid. She's supposed to be this emissary of this greater will, but all her attacks are literally flailing around and throwing hands like a toddler. Not to mention the stupid ass lasers... It's a 3/10 boss imo, 1/10 gameplay wise, but I'm adding 2 points for all the lore implications

>> make his phase 2 less stupid and please cut your fking hair miquella. Its blocking my screen.
the Lothric twin prince fight (which clearly was how they wanted this to go) was way better in every aspect

>> The fuck.? it actually does?
yup, Molester's at 8.47. Not sure if it's people trolling or what

Btw have you played Nightrein? I'm debating whether to buy it or not
Johan__Liebert_ Jun 3, 2025 10:07 AM
>> I got the job offer to teach english to some chinese kids and they pay good but I cannot leave the job for 1 year which sucks for me cause I have to work at the cafe my uncle is gonna open in like 4/5 months.

you got caught up in a pretty shitty situation. I'd say, if the pay is really good, then have a talk with your uncle and try to talk him through your decision. I know it's easy to give advice and much harder to follow it through, but thought I'd give you my two cents anyway. I've seen a few friends who regretted not taking a high paying job because they wanted to do something else...

>> now if I dont fk up I can literally run around him in circles and strafe everything.
I'm so fucking bad at doing this. I try to do it, but the ogre just grabs and slams me on the ground

>> I recently did a speedrun try and I completed the game in 1 hour and 7 minutes which isnt that good but Im pretty cool with it.
That's pretty good. I've tried to finish the game within a night, but nowhere close to 1 hr. I think it took me like 3.5 hrs to finish it when I was rushing

>> from the four belfry right? I literally missed that place in my first playthrough.
Yeah, from the four belfries. How'd you miss the place? I thought it was not really hidden. The only place I missed during my initial playthrough is Jarburg.

>> also one of my favorite place is moonlight altar the place you get after killing astel.
I have PTSD of that place because I had to kill like 4 dragons back to back to back. Hated the experience. The place itself is pretty cool. Ranni's quest was absolutely amazing, but way too long. I actually chose the age of stars ending during my 1st playthrough because I thought to myself there's no way in hell I'm doing all that quest again in my second playthrough lol

>> also the music of soul of cinder phase 2 is literally gwyn's theme.
ooh, that's pretty cool

>> also did you know nameless king is the son of gwyn?
Yeah, I've seen a few Vaati videos lol. Most of DS3 lore was lost on me because I haven't played DS1 and DS2

>> Only challenge run Ive did so far is lvl 1 run which I gave up on fire giant.
I've been wanting to do this, but I'm too lazy to start lol.

>> but immediately changed to BHF since it looked fking cool and its ash of war is cool as well.
I didn't even realise BHF's ash of war had a follow up until I reached mountaintops, lol

>> I first found out about starfist in a yt video named beating elden ring as a saitama or something like that.
I did find starfist on my first playthrough, but didn't give it much thought as I thought it was gonna be another shitty weapon. How wrong I was.

>> I hate the maliketh fight with fist weapon.
Same. Like literally half of my attacks will whiff on him

>> man its such a shame what they did to godfrey. he to me is one of the best boss mechanically in the game.
Yeah, they kinda ruined Godfrey. He's probably the most fair fight in the game, though I do like Radagon a bit more if we're only taking base game; but then you get to Horah Loux and wait 10 years to roll on his grab. The delays on his attacks are so goddamn stupid.

>> 50% of the fight I watch the guy tryna grab air.
Yup, or he'll do his Earth pull move which is such a bs move. All you can do is run...

>> I first tried champion gundyr as well.
Damn bro, good for you. Gundyr kicked and fucked me hard. The bosses I first tried in DS3 were Abyss Watchers, Nameless King, The sage guy, Deacons, tutorial Gundyr, wolf and guy from Ariendel dlc. It's kinda fresh in my mind as I've only just beaten the game like 3 weeks ago

>> I was using lothric knight sword.
I was using the Vordt boss weapon because I saw it had frost, and well big stick do big bonk. The charged attack on that weapon takes like 5 business days to land though

>> that kills you in like 2 seconds in you stay in their poison?
yup that's the one. It's so stupid, since the water is kinda greenish, you can't even see the poison properly

>> I died in posion swamp like lot of times
Miyazaki and his poison swamps

>> you know right those guys that jump in your face and do some weird movements as if they are facefking us.
yeah, like what the fuck kinda sick ass game dev approved that move. It's so weird

>> Though once I saw abyss watchers I was immediately hooked.
I have no idea how I killed the watchers. I just kept swinging and they kept getting staggered, lol. Phase 2 was a bit more challenging. Pretty cool boss overall, probably the best humanoid boss design in all of souls, barring maybe Midra and Radagon

>> Im pretty sure his name is devourer of gods since he literally devoured gwyndolin "a god".
I think I heard the lore in a Vaati video, but didn't understand shit lmao

>> this guy does like 3 attcks on repeat and you have to chase in through the hallway and if you get close to him he teleports far and you have to chase him again while he spams magic again.

yeah, it's kinda stupid to see him just teleport and shoot lasers.

>> from my experience when one attacks me upfront another one just sits they yelling and maybe throwing posion and there is this one weird noise that they make then they switch.
Idk man, that just didn't happen to me. I was being double tagged by them. I just looked up a tutorial because I was fed up and the tutorial guy was like, keep distance and good luck lol

>> but things like friede having phase 3 after literally getting titanite slab
yeah, but you don't get "Victory Achieved" after phase 2, so I don't think I'd have fallen for that regardless. I'd have definitely fallen for Guardian Ape fake ass "Shinobi Execution" thing

>> sekiro to miyazaki is what Vagabond is to Inoue.
bruh, why must I live in this pain of never getting an ending to some of my favourite series

>> also his phase 1 isnt any good either.
I genuinely like PCR phase 1. It's pretty fair and his combos are fun to dodge.

>> man I miss when fromsoft used to make hype final boss. Ishin, GAEL.
Isshin is probably the best boss they've made

>> and Im a guy who always defends elden beast coz I dont think its as bad as people say it is.
Elden beast is annyoing af. He just keeps running away. Cool looking final boss? Yes. A good final boss? fuck no. I still think the final boss should've been Radagon with just more health and more moves. Elden beast definitely makes sense to have as the final boss, but damn is he (she, it?) annyoing

>> consort radahn gets hate but honestly its not enough.
true. The hate died out after the nerf, but he's still a pretty shitty boss tbh.

>> also wtf this guy below me asking you to read "molester" like literally.
idk what he wants lol. Imagine my surprise when Molester actually has a rating of 8.4...
Johan__Liebert_ May 29, 2025 10:13 PM
I'm on a vacation away from all of life's bs, hence the late reply

I think the only bad bosses in Sekiro are the ogre and the bull, mainly because they're placed so early in the game. Since the game prioritises parries, there's no way in hell I could've figured out that you can parry a fucking bull and some kicks...

>> My personal favorite shot has to be the Crumbling Farum Azula
I remember reaching Farum Azula using an imbued sword key and was completely awestruck. Since you can't reach the main dungeon using an imbued sword key, I thought the area was for DLC. Was pleasantly surprised when that wasn't the case

>> If you parry he dies in like 30 sec
One thing I dislike about fromsoft games, barring sekiro, is that the parry timing is fucking awful. I tried to do a parry run for elden ring, was so confused on what attacks were parriable and what the timing was.

Also, if I'm not mistaken the second half of DS3's last boss is Gwyn, DS1's last boss. I'm not too sure about this though

>> I fkingg hate slow ass build in any fking game
I used to be the same, but I was too lazy to learn about int, dex etc so I went the route of big stick do bonk. Starfist is so fucking op, no idea how it wasn't nerfed. Even in NG+7 you can staggerfarm with it

>> But I won't say it's the best weapon considering it's range
Yeah, and not to mention how some bosses have hitboxes that Starfist can't hit unless you are at a specific angle. Case in point, Maliketh, Tree Avatars, Gargoyles

>> The most op weapon in the game is Blasphemous Blade
I still think Starfist is the most OP. I do love the skill you get with Blasphemous Blade.

>> Have you used Scavengers Curved Sword?
I haven't. I'll try it out. I've been doing full runs with any good weapon I can find. Guess this one's next

>> Maybe the runback is also a factor of it but being a dragon motherfker doesn't have attacks like a dragon untill phase 2.
yeah, the runback is long, but it makes sense lore wise as there wouldn't be any statues of Marika in Farum Azula. I was actually thinking about this when making the runback and it interested me even more. The Marika statues are placed very methodically and make sense lore wise. You won't find the statues in Raya Lucaria, as they were at war with the golden order and you won't find them in FA, as it existed before the golden order. Shit like this is why I absolutely love ER and its lore

>> I'm big into the lore of the characters so I like Radahn mostly coz of the lore and buildup to his fight
I'm into the lore overall, even then imo a bad camera fight is a bad camera fight, no amount of lore will save it.

>> Thats also the reason dodging her attacks to me feels the most satisfying
Yeah, I feel like fromsoft fixed a lot of issues with the base game bosses. I hate, and I do mean absolutely fucking hate, when the only way to dodge an enemy's combo is to just run away (case in point Morgott, Margit, Horah Loux, Elden Beast). I want to be able to dodge all the attacks, I don't want to run away and watch the boss dancing on their own. I definitely agree that Rellana's attacks are satisfying to dodge as you can dodge each and every single attack

>> He has the best lore out of any characters as well, mechanically he is amazing, music is just the best, arena is beautiful
I'm not into DS lore as much as I'm into ER lore. I feel like ERs story is a lot more digestable than DS's. But yeah, Gael is an amazing boss. I thought he wasn't going to be that good since everyone was glazing him, but he does deserve all the hype he gets. Again, I love how you can dodge each and every attack.

>> My frnd made me fight dancer early lmao
bruh, lol.

>> I honestly don't mind the recycled boss tbh
I don't either. Just pointing it out

>> I hate the godskin duo though
Unfortunately, fromsoft doesn't know how to do duo fights. They should take inspiration from Wukong. All, and I mean all, duo fights in fromsoft games are absolutely fucking garbage. You'll literally get frametrappe if you don't dodge at frame specific timings.

They could've made the snail godskin fight as the main Farum Azula fight, and it would've been great. Like the fat one would summon skinny when he's dying or smth. Would've been much less of a clusterfuck

>> Also my most hated boss in the game is commander niall from mountain tops
I like that guy. His summons are kinda garbage, but I like that boss' moveset. My most hated boss is the Valiant Gargoyles fight. Fucking awful fight, absolute garbage. I actually summoned my friend to kill them because I was so done with their bs.

>> I literally first tried midir though and 3rd tried Friede
Midir fucking destroyed me. Maybe because I had a slow ass weapon and I was too stubborn to switch. Took me around 12-15 tries. The most tries any boss took for me in DS3 was Champion Gundyr. Fucking guy won't let me heal in his phase 2. That guy took me around 20 tries or so

>> Also I find ds3 to be unenjoyable untill Farron keep
definitely agree with this one. I was kinda just playing because I had paid for the game. The game for me started getting real good when I reach Pontiff's castle thingy, everything before that was kinda meh for me.

>> I honestly don't like overlay linear lvl design
I don't really mind a linear game, and I kind hate the way secrets are hidden in DS3. You'll have to jump to specific rock then go down onto another specific rock while everything is dark af and you can't see jack shit. Not to mention you'll die if you fall from 2 feet.

>> The tree, deacons, sage, wolnir
Agreed. The tree is the worst fucking boss in the game. Wolnir is a gimmick boss, and a pretty bad one at that. Like you can't even see when he's gonna attack, not to mention his dark aura thing is stupid af

>> Like yorhm and aldritch
I liked Yorhm. He's like a worse Rykard fight, but not too bad. Aldritch was fucking awful. His name is Devourer of Gods, but all he fucking does is run away and shoot lasers.

>> Also a hot take dragon slayer armor is top 5 boss in base game
Dude, that's not a hot take. Almost everyone puts dragonslayer armour in their top 5 bosses in DS3

>> It's never always 2v1. Since one demon goes kind of passive when other one is active and I love the phase 2.
that wasn't my experience. They always ganked me. I would be fighting one and the other one would smack my ass or throw toxin or whatever the fuck killing me. I hate the beginning of ringed city. It's so fucking stupid, that these angels would be shooting lasers at you every fucking second. It was so fucking annoying. I also fucking hate the summoners in Ringed City. Deal with these 800 archers while we give the summoner 5 million HP.

>> That was the fight I was spoiled on
I was spoiled on every fight, but I don't really mind it, as I don't think seeing someone fight a boss is a spoiler for me. Spoiling a game's story is different, but if you "spoil" a boss for me, I don't really care. I actually watched two Elden Ring's full playthrough before playing the game myself and I don't think I'd have enjoyed it less if I went in blind. If you spoil the game's story, then that's a different matter altogether.

>> Have you fought his inner version? I still find this version hard
I have. I actually downloaded a mod that removed the pillars from hirata estate and the fight becomes wayy easier for me.

>> And if you mistakely do an extra attack or two he uses mist raven, gets your back and almost does half your hp. Kind of stupid.
I think its fair in sekiro if the boss deletes half your HP as holding block will literally negate damage. Out of all fromsoft games, Sekiro is the most balanced one. I so want a sekiro DLC. Hope Miyazaki makes one.

>> My probably the biggest hot take out of any games has to be that I think Sewer Mohg you find at leyndell underground is literally better than Original Mogh
I used to think this as well as I didn't like how real Mogh phase 2 would literally spam bloodflame over and over and cover the entire arena in fire. But now, after fighting him a lot more, I've grown to like his phase 2. You can evade all of his attacks and you can outmaneuver his fire

>> I think his phase 2 should start a bit earlier and it should either heal him or damage us
I do agree with this. An undodgeable, un-interruptable move that heals the boss and damages the player is pretty shit. Malenia healing is also garbage. She'll heal even if you block her attacks with a shield. Absolutely fucking stupid boss. She might as well heal while hitting air at that point

>> I know there is a crystal tear to counteract that but is it good gameplay if the game forces you to use something you don't want to? I don't think so.
Agreed again. I'd have liked if you got the tear in the Moghwyn palace instead of going on a fucking side quest to timbuktu to get it. Also, it should've been a consumable like the shackle and not a physick tear.

>> Miquella's hair is sk fking long and wide that it covers half my screen if I get behind him
yup. And I fucking hate the golden laser beams. It's like if you get hit once, you'll get hit 3 times. Once by the actual attack, which will most likely stagger you, then by the golden light, which also staggers you (fucking retarded boss design), then you panic and get hit by Radhan's follow-up attack. PCR is an abysmally garbage boss. Such a shame that he's the final boss.

>> Lyrically musically I have yet to find a band I think outdoes them
I'd say Rush is pretty close. Rush songs have some amazing lyrics.

Johan__Liebert_ May 22, 2025 4:01 AM
>> I've been planning on visiting one of my frnds house for almost 2 months now.
I have a funnier story. My friend an I had made plans to visit one of our friend's house while we were in high school. That plan is still up for grabs lol

>> I wanna make him play Sekiro.
Nice, convert one

>> And one of my frnd has a underground band who just makes cover rn.
After watching Nana, I've always wanted to be in an underground band of some sort.

>> Sekiro was the first game I played and as much as I liked it. It was so hard to the point I gave up twice.
Same, I gave up on the first general you get to after the tutorial. I didn't listen to the tutorial and was doing things completely wrong.

>> Then one of my frnd recommend DS3 to me. I downloaded it and killed Gundyr but idk why I didn't continue it.
Dude, did we both have same experiences with fromsoft games? I too, when first played DS3, killed Gundyr and then left it as is. For me though, I didn't like how "slow" the game felt, with limited stamina and everything

>> I just wanted to give it a go and see what the hype is about but I was instantly mesmerized by the first view of Limgrave after I open the gate.
That was a really nice opening shot. My favourite shot from the entire game has to be Lyndell. You see these golden buildings with a fucking dragon dead on top of them. instantly makes you wonder wtf happened there

>> I gave ds1 a go and holy fk it was one of the best experience.
I still haven't tried DS1. People do say the level design is the best in DS1. It takes place in the Ringed City right? If I'm not mistaken

>> Which weapon do you use in Elden Ring.
I picked up the Bloodhound Fang, used it until Fire Giant, then I realised I can cosplay Guts, and then picked up the Greatsword for the rest of the game

>> Though my favorite weapon in the game has to be btwn Starfist and Scavengers Curved Sword.
My favorite weapon has to be Helphen Steeple, though Starfist is definitely the best weapon in the game. You can literally skip boss' second phases with those balls

>> Bayle is pure treat to watch. Just a masterpiece visually.
I prefer Placidussax over Bayle. I think fromsoft kinda went overboard with Bayle's spectacle

>> Considering gameplay, lore, buildup I'll say it's Radahn (OG).
I don't like the OG Radahn, he's too big to see what he's doing most of the time

>> If I have to choose 1 I'll say it's Relanna.
I didn't like Relanna on my first playthrough, but I can definitely agree that she's one of the best bosses in ER. Relanna reminds me of Pontiff, or I should say Pontiff reminds me of Relanna as I played DS3 after ER

>> Gael is my all time favorite boss in any video game.
He is pretty cool. I like this cutscene, "Hand it over, your dark soul, for my lady's painting"
I got chills even though I had no idea wtf a dark soul was lol

>> I'm so attached to Gael that I have a separate DS3 id that I made only to fight Gael.
I did this with Sekiro's bosses before they added the boss rush option

My favorite cutscenes would be Midra and Dancer. I think my favourite cutscene was for Placidussax, it's so cool to see Farum Azula being rebuilt for the fight

>> Personally I think Elden Ring has more great boss but it also has some of trash ones.
you don't really feel this on your first playthrough, but when you go back 3-4 times you realize how many bosses are just recycles

>> Ds3 in its peak has the best boss period. But base game boss are horrendous.
Yeah, but DS3 bosses felt too easy to me after ER. Would you believe me if I told you I beat the nameless king first try? I thought it was gonna be Malenia of DS3, but he really wasn't that difficult.

You mean DS3 base game bosses are bad? I'd have to disagree, I thought they were great. From both the DLCs, I only liked Friede, Gael and Midir (kinda). The demon prince gank fight was shit, the NPC + wolf fight in Ariendel was shit, the NPC fight in the church in Ringed City was shit.

When friede's 3rd phase appeared I died inside because I beat the first 2 phases first try. I had no heals for the rest of the fight and died instantly. Took me 8-10 more tries to beat her

Sekiro combat system is fantastic. My second favourite system after Wukong's. Idk why I liked Wukong's combat so much, it's not even that special

>> Atp I know where every items are in the game. If you ask me where are all the sugars I can tell you.
I have this power for ER base game

>> Honestly I feel like Owl Father is the hardest boss in the game.
For me it was Demon of Hatred. MF is a Dark Souls boss in sekiro

>> It's a hot take since most think Ishin is the hardest or maybe demon of hatred but If we count Inner Version then Inner Father is 100% the hardest boss.
My hot take. Father Owl is only hard because of the arena and the goddamn pillars blocking me, while DoH is genuienly hard

>> I personally find Cuphead to be the hardest game I've ever played.
I can see why. I've watched an entire Cuphead playthrough and frankly the game doesn't feel like it's for me

>> Most a boss took me to kill in any game was Nameless King with like 70 tries.
For me it was Promised Consort Radahn. At least took me 65-75 tries over the course of 3 days. I also think Consort Radahn's phase 2 is absolutely garbage. Phase 1 is fun, but phase 2 is where fun goes to die

>> Hollow Knight is amazing game as well.
heard a lot about it, never gotten around to playing it. This and undertale

>> I always liked Time from Pink Floyd but more and more I grow up more and more this lyrics resonates with me.
I think these are the best lyrics in any song ever. Applicable in one way or another to almost anyone on this planet. DSotM is a fucking masterpiece of an album

>> what you do again?
software engineering, more on the Operating System end. Currently I'm working on adding features to the Linux kernel and in my free time I like to spread hatred for windows :)

>> im at the opening shift so my job is from 7 to 3
that's nice. I have a pretty flexible schedule as well, so there's really no one to hold me accountable if I leave an hour or two early, but I get this sense of guilt if I stop early

>> I mean all that I wanna do is play games
Nice, at least you've got the thing you want to do figured out. I waste my weekends wondering what to do instead of doing it. Never realised I'd see a day where I'd have to make plans with friends weeks in advance. One of my friends is getting married this October, and he told me about it last October, giving me a 1 year buffer.

>> never had any interest in any instrumentals.
I've always wanted to play guitar after seeing Slash, Gilmour and Petrucci. I can't play for shit right now though

>> I didnt know you played souls game
I gave Elden Ring a try in 2022, because I loved Sekiro, but I hated Elden Ring at first, so I gave up. Gave it another try a year later, still hated it. Gave it a third try last Christmas and absolutely got addicted. I don't know what clicked, but something did, and all I did for 10 days was play ER, eat and sleep

I have like 370 hrs in Elden Ring, my main save file guy is at lvl 460 at NG+8. I have like 25 different IDs, but had to overwrite a lot of them because fromsoft only allows 10. Kinda stupid if you ask me

DS3 was great too. I liked to bosses. The lore is wayy more hidden than Elden Ring so I had a hard time figuring out why I'm fighting the boss I'm fighting rn. Btw, who's you fav boss from ER and DS3? From ER, mine's Midra and from DS3 I'd give it to either Gael or the Dancer

>> All I wanna do is play demon souls and bloodborne
Dude, same. Fuck sony for hogging them only to their consoles. I actually did rent a PS5 to play Bloodborne but got scammed as there was no bloodborne on their system. Had to get a refund

I love Sekiro too. It was my first fromsoft game. I probably have like over 300 hours on it, but since I pirated it during covid times, on Steam I only have 12 hrs in it. I think Sekiro had the best bosses of any fromsoft game. Isshin is my favourite boss ever, maybe along with Erlang from Wukong

Dude, I tried cuphead. Gave up in half an hour lol

>> Ive yet to play the monkey one though
Wukong? It's pretty good. The level design isn't as good as fromsofts, but the bosses are great

>> who is your favourite souls boss? For me it has to be Slave knight gael from dark souls 3.
If talking fromsoft, then Isshin and Genichiro easy, if actual "souls" like boss, then not really sure. I'd choose one from Midra, Gael or the Dancer from DS3

>> I wanna open my own cafe by like 30
one of my friends wants to open a cafe in the hills of Nepal. He was asking me about how to do it lol

>> I watch like one anime every 6 months if not 1 year
sadge how it has come to this. While listening to cure, I found these lyrics quite resonating

And the birds falling out of our skies
And the words falling out of our minds
And here is to love, to all the love
Falling out of our lives
Hopes and dreams are gone
The end of every song
And it all stops
We were always sure that we would never change

>> I always used to dislike rap but recently Ive been into quite a few rap artists
I could never get into rap outside of Eminem. Idk why the rest just didn't hit. NF is kinda okayish too

>> also Ive been enjoying a lot of old hindi music recently.
what a coincidence, me too. Not as old as songs you're listening to though; I'm getting back into the early 2000's hindi music, mostly for nostalgia.

>> also why in the fk is yesterday called "kal" and tomorrow is also called "kal".
bruh, no idea. Makes sense in context though, and not as bad as Japanese. Japanese has words that could mean 10 different things, and I'm not exaggerating here, depending upon the context. Shit's wild

In Nepalese as well, "soon" can mean gold or "listen"i. I'd also been getting into linguistics because I thought it was interesting. Nothing too serious though, my journey beings and ends at YouTube lol
It’s time to ditch the text file.
