Favorite genres: Science Fiction (everything from space operas to cyberpunk), Detective Noir/Police Drama (anything with crime and mystery), Romance, and History.

My goal is to consume as many stories as I can, so even if it means placing something on hold for years, I will never drop an anime. I'll finish whatever I start, for better or for worse....

current favorite bands: The Strokes, The Backseat Lovers, Friday Pilots Club, The Fratellis, and Franz Ferdinand. (i guess im in my indie-rock arc)

My Ratings:

10- perfect, I cant think of any flaw or change to improve it, and was very enjoyable
9- near perfect, highly enjoyable, but there were a few areas of criticism
8- great show, has some flaws or fixable areas but overall great experience
7- very entertaining and definitely worth my time but more areas of critique that prevent it from being considered truly great
6- slightly above average quality or is on par with average but was sufficiently enjoyable to make it stand out
5- average anime, doesnt stand out to me and will probably be forgotten in a few years. isnt bad nor good
4- slightly below average in terms of quality or content, and left a disagreeable aftertaste after finishing
3- pretty bad and i didnt find anything enjoyable about it
2- something that makes me ask "why was this even made" but somehow not the worst things i've seen
1- something so terrible or inspires so much contempt from me that i have no choice but to banish it to the bottom of my scoreboard

i dont think i've ever seen an iranian film so i'll have to go with korean, but id love to give some a shot if there are any good ones to recommend

i'm myself dipping my feet in them too late but so far my exp has been very pleasant, if you want some good ones to begin with i would suggest

- where is the friend's house?
- children of heaven
- the separation

i discovered them in like 2024 through "End of It" (my most played song of 2025!) and their "Nowhere" album was sooooo good. I'm hoping to see them in concert soon too!

Funny how I seem to have a penchant for bands with the word "Pilots" in their name (I'm a huge twenty one pilots fan too lol)
