Nice to meet you! No problem, I found your review well-written and close to my own opinion of the anime, so I liked it. I consider a 7/10 a good score though, so it was still in my book one of the better series of that season. I'm definitely slacking off on my mahou shoujo watching myself, been planning on watching Cardcaptor for ever!
Oh wow, you are welcome!
I apologize for seeing your comment so zetta late, thank you for taking the time to do so by the way!!
I absolutely wish I could buy the series and finish it... I've just been reading it through library copies and already wanted it just from the covers, the actual story is just so touching~ It's nice to meet someone who has those three series you mentioned in their physical collection as well! What else do you have btw?
I agree it's not the greatest for the genre but it is cute and relatable to some people but they could have done better (animation and storyline).
I do appreciate the review and love to see different point of views on something I'm on fence about finishing.
Also sorry late for the reply, notifications were weird.
Hello and you're welcome!
I don't really use mal to track everything that I watch Most of my list is on a website called trackseries.tv. It was nice for a while. It was mainly for tv shows and I liked to keep everything at once place which was easier. That said, I have recently moved over to simkl.com which is a lot better than trackseries. Simkl also allows me to add movies which isn't on trackseries.
I totally get you on Konosuba lol. The first time I watched it I was so turned off too that I dropped it after a few eps in. I only went back to it years later when everyone was talking about it. Now I just enjoy the goofiness of it all. That's the mindset you have to go into it with.
If you love actual character development as you said, you should try Mushoku Tensi and Magi (Too bad this one never got an S3) . I know everyone says it's either too good or it's too much fanservice. But if you actually go past all that, there is real character development. There are also Code Geass and Gundam seed and Aldnoah zero, if you don't mind mecha stuff.
Nice to meet you as well, sorry for the late response!
Hello, and thank you for the kind words! I saw an anime page in FB recommended Vampire Dormitory and I got curious... perhaps it should always stay underrated, lol :') I'd make sure to check out your recommendation for her other works, though <33
Hi there how's it going?
I'm glad to hear that you have a knack for mystery.
I recommend you to watch beautiful bones, Shoushimin Series (same author as hyouka) and files of young kindaichi If you don't mind 90s anime.
Or basically any of the mystery series in my favorites.
Hiya! Lovely of you to send a message, thank you :) I just started the Snafu one indeed! I hope it will be good, so far I've been enjoying it, it's quite funny but so far not a lot of characters or depth yet.
If you have any vampire anime recommendations, I'd love to hear it. I like the genre or the combo with romance, but most of them are kinda cringy. However, Black Butler has been one of my all time favorites, so if you know of any like that, perhaps I can give it a try. :)
