It's a nice anime, something to watch when you're waiting for the next episode of some other anime to come out. It's nothing special, though. There is character development, but it's not really significant. Although this is meant to be about swimming, the anime gets too tied up with all sorts of friendships and problems that aren't really problems, and I feel like that takes away from the magic of swimming.
The animation is stunning, and the soundtrack is pretty nice. But I feel like this anime gets way too overhyped when it

Art/Animation - 1 (the animation is ridiculously bad) Sound - 3 (the VAs sound like they're just making random noises half of the time, honestly. And the MC's so whiny.) Character - 1 Enjoyment - 2 Overall - 1 The premise of this anime is quite intriguing -- internet addicts are placed into a camp which is meant to prevent them from accessing the internet. The title itself, 'Evil or Live' was also something that made me want to watch it (you know, since evil backwards is live). However, the first episode was a bit of a disappointment. Storyline - 4 Art - 9 Soundtrack - 8 Animation - 9 Character - 3 Enjoyment - 4 Overall, a 6. This show parades itself as something 'intelligent' from the first episode. Now, don't get me wrong -- it's an interesting concept which I haven't come across in anime before. A special school with all sorts of rules that the students have to decipher. I liked it at first; I appreciated what it was going for.
