If I tell someone Step 1 to get Milk is Rape - their natural response is always 'kuchh bhi?' and laugh - because in their whole life nobody told them how their subha ki chai or paneer dahi lands on their plate or cup. It's too big of a shock that their brains just deny it.

Patriarchy works in the exact same way - women's bodily autonomy & freedom are in men's hands, they're conditioned/taught to believe that. Anything contrary to it just becomes denial in their pea sized non functioning brains. And this, is precisely why I hate the idea of living with a non vegan man (vegan men are scarce). So I just say I'm never gonna marry, because explaining the thought process behind this decision requires draining my brain cells that I just don't wanna do. Well that's precisely why I stick with Horror, Mystery, Thrillers when it comes to non animated films. That too picking the right ones or it's a waste of time. I've rarely liked films beyond these genres especially in adulthood. As a child I'd watch any crap and still enjoy it Lmao.

I dont know why people prefer season 2 of bridgerton while i was sleeping mid way through each episode, the romance and the cheating segment felt so fake, like are we really supporting this sh!t, Season 4 is said to be relatively better than shit show of season 3...

The good luck part is that the show gets an good adaption, with high quality and good writing because the episode 1 is based on a game and rest is original content so cant say they can pull the shittiest writing...

Oh, but why do you think something is wrong in that description? :) Yes, I'm still currently rewatching things. The last 3-4 months were incredibly slow and unproductive, due too many reasons, but I'm still on that journey. If I manage to concentrate and nothing distracts me, maybe I'll actually be able to finish the whole thing in a few months.

It’s part of dividing things into groups, there are bad people everywhere, it’s not about any one group. I’ve had problems with straight men, gay men, women, trans people, religious people, and atheists. That doesn’t mean I hate any of those groups

Gay men often push back against a culture that has historically rejected them, and many of the people representing that opposition are men. But it’s easy to forget that plenty of men are also part of the support on their side.
As for dogs, they don’t sense some hidden truth about men. They fear people who have hurt them. Their reactions come from experience, not from an innate judgment of an entire gender. Don’t blame men as a whole, blame the behaviors and the culture that shape them
