Horror, mystery, thriller, Creepy Island, cicadas making noise in the background in summer. Yep, this definitely reminds me of Summertime Rendering (which I loved). Strong first episode. I'm looking forward to this one.🙌🔥

Did I read this correctly that Hikaru was lost in the woods for 1 week, and the story/anime takes place 6 months after that event?
Because the interactions and thought process of Yoshiki feel more like Hikaru just returned.
How did he interact with him during the last 6 months, before Hikaru revealed his form when they were eating ice cream? That is a bit odd in my eyes.

That was a really good first episode of an anime. I really love it the atmosphere and the story.

What I like about this series so far is it is not campy or over the top horror. I feel like many shows the Horror aspect of it is childish or not-serious. For the introductory episode, it seems like they have nailed the tone of horror. I am excited to see how this show unfolds. Too bad it is netflix.
