| I didn't like the ending in the manga, and I know many people feel the same way What changes would you like to see in this final season? if it happens... If possible, add a spoiler tag so other people don't read it. |

| The best and only way is completely rewrite the ending. Live-action already tried to make this at least partially meaningful, and the movie final bombed at the box office. @ReMightyRon The fact that even those who defend the ending understand that their opinion sounds provocative speaks volumes. |

Make aquas death make sense, improve the main villains motivations significantly (Oh my lord is he one of the worst main villains I’ve ever seen and that’s purely because he doesn’t do jack shit), give the crow girl a reason to exist, give something for Ruby to do cause she is completely irrelevant in the last 20 chapters and expand on the epilogue chapter for EVERYBODY. |

I agree with all these changes after all, it should have been this way. |

Easily make Ruby and Aqua get together and raise a family.
| @rohan121 unironically that probably would have been a better ending. |

| @Skeltro105 completely agree. for me the biggest thing that needs to be changed is Hikaru as a main villain. He doesn't do anything as you say and doesn't feel like a threat that needs to be killed at all. Also, the delivery of his backstory was very haphazard, I don't know what we're supposed to think about him. Did he go crazy and become evil after being raped by Airi, was he always evil from the start, or did he become evil after being dumped by Ai? Also, what has he been doing in the years after Ai died(besides killing unimportant characters offscreen). As a villain, he desperately needs more development. |

| @Blindsilo94 yes but aqua died for a lame reason......in manga He died because he doesn't want ruby to be called as sister of the killer so he killed himself with hikaru...... But it was not even necessary to kill himself in this situation, he could label the incident as a part of self defense or he could have done so many things to hide the dead body after killing him. So in the end it was pointless for him to die................ I understand that it was hinted that aqua is going to die since beginning but they could have done it with a proper reason.............. Manga ended with this ending due to rough schedule from editorial department and abruptly ending the story to start new series........ So I hope they will do these minimum changes to make the ending much better in my opinion |

Aqua survives somehow and ends up with one of the three LI. Doesn't matter who. Anything is better than him not surviving. |

So I hope they will do these minimum changes to make the ending much better in my opinion That's pretty much my opinion on it as someone who hasn't read it but only heard people talk about it. I, from what I have seen so far for a while, I can see that this is where Aqua as a character is heading and have no problem with a self sacrifice ending. If people are gonna argue it's a bad ending because it's rushed or not executed well, I might agree when I see/read it for myself. If people's problem is with the direction itself, then I disagree completely. |

I've reread and rewatched and still don't quite understand why she's there. |

| @Skeltro105 You, my brother, have spoken WISE words. I think they really will expand upon the manga ending, since the anime team clearly are passionate towards the IP as a whole. |

| hopefully they don't really change anything in terms of the actual plot. they could add some more scenes and context to amplify the emotional impact, but I honestly believe the ending should be left as is (I enjoyed it personally) |

| As someone who hated the manga ending, I read about what the live action did with their version of the ending and I think I still prefer the manga. The one redeeming factor of the manga ending is that Hikaru bangs his head the same way Katayose Yura did when he killed her. |

| While watching the anime and remembering everything, it made me think that the ending was even worse. My complains were even more valid, basically it made Aqua development non existent and it made me mad, even more considering that Aqua is smart. The rest is like @Skeltro105 said basically. |

| They should farm it. The author got tired of the series but someone else might be suited to pick it up and extend it out. I mean they saw the car crash. Why commit to that? There's an opportunity to do something different. Plus American firms at least farming franchises. Oshi No Ko didn't feel ready for death when it ended. There's enough there to farm it out for an additional 2 cours without it being forced. I think they can preserve the bones if they want but it seems silly to not give the final arc some time to breathe and match the rest of the series in quality. |

| @thelastavocado Yes, they covered ~75% in 3 seasons. The remaining quarter in the 4th season is consistent with the pacing the anime had so far. |
