Yeah, these are fictional characters after all. Also Araragi does the whole panties thing just to get a reaction out of Hachikuji. You will see later down the series just how much she means to him as a friend.

Its weird but on the other hand i think it was stated somewhere shes been around for 100 years or so. Shinobu also looks like a kid but shes a immortal vampire who had lived for centuries. Just try to enjoy the show without paying attetion to those things and youll be fine.

Monogatari intends to mock those who are lolicons by being really outlandish about it. But it just comes across as gross and horrible. While I absolutely love the rest of this series I have nisemonogatari at a 4 because it's just unbareable. The only reason I don't have it lower than a 4 is because of the first couple episodes with Hitagi and meeting Kaiki.

Welcome to the Monogatari franchise. Shit like this will become laughably normal as you progress through the series. But it's worth it, since this franchise has some truly incredible characters and storytelling.
