| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This episode was incredible. I love how we're still unsure of who is going to win the match. The flashback of Gouenji bonding with his old team mates at kidokawa was really nice and we could see his influence take effect on the Mukata brothers, as they actually co-operate now rather than be cocky. The Over-ride technique of Triangle Z and Fire Tornado turned out to be another variant of Fireball Storm, which I was a bit confused by, and would have preferred another name. Either way it looked awesome. I absolutely love these new technique animations, such as with Triangle Z being shot upward, and Spinning Cut being a lot more acrobatic. Overall the animation and style in this show is incredible. There was also a new technique that Seiryu used called Zone of Pentagram, which looked pretty awesome too. We also see some characterization of Haizaki and how he learnt that everyone is protecting the goal and not just him. I can't wait to see how many goals he'll score in the next episode. Hype to see who wins. |
| With Haizaki now working with his team, hopefully we'll get to see new penguin techniques as the over head penguin was pretty cool |

| Not suprising to see Kidou's plan worked on Haisaki but it would have been pretty interesting if Haisaki instead would have been like "Nah, I'm not putting up with this crap, i quit" |
