| Spear man sure damn the most obnoxious man in the world lmao. Challenging a duel wih Naofumi because the stupid red hair bish plotted to. This was a rather sad yet sweet episode and thanks to our girl Raphtalia fixing Naofumi's mental state. |
| Probably one of my favorite episodes the series. It shows the relationship between Naofumi and Raphtalia and how there bond has been set in stone. The fight between the Spear and Shield is also one of my favorite fights in the series. It has stakes thanks to Raphtalia, and Naofumi once again uses unconventional methods to "beat" the Spear hero. It shows off his strategy plus his character traits in how they mesh together for his more unconventional fighting style. We get a glimpse of the curse series, which will become important later on in the show. We get to see Naofumi cry and be comforted and told from someone important to him that they believe he's innocent. Also the moment he see's that Raphtalia has grown into an adult is satisfying. Glad how they sprinkled it in previously in the episode showing that he still literally see's her as a child. |
| The spear hero has too much confidence, and I nearly teared up at the end when I saw what Raphtalia is willing to commit with Naofumi. Myne is also a BITCH!!!! |
| This episode is my comfort video for anything now. Other anime had similar beautiful scenes, but the way Tate no Yuusha leverages mistreatment of the MC and his aide and forges it into a bond... chef's kiss. In short, Raphtalia = best girl |
